So I and my boyfriend went here for the first time last night for his birthday as you walked in the place was very well decorated and was really pretty inside they didn't have any booth seats so they suggested the bar in the front or a table in the way back a table for two high table so we chose to sit at the high table in the back The service was really bad they hardly paid any attention to us in the back the people that were up front and booth seats were catered to waitresses walked right past us and didn't ask us if we needed anything or the service was just really bad The food was great and the drinks were a 100%. I will definitely go back for drinks because that seemed to be the only thing that came to us on time as it came to checking out and getting my check to leave It was about 30 minutes to a 45-minute wait I had to eventually get up and ask somebody to help us out with leaving then I ordered a dessert to go and it end up being the wrong thing and they had to remake it and that took another 10 minutes hopefully this changes as it is a new restaurant and they just opened but I would suggest some chips and salsa at the table serving before we get our food and I asked for a glass of water and received just water with no ice in it.... And for the price that we paid for the drinks and the food I expected service to be a lot better If they want to keep in...
Read moreThey may be working out the kinks since they recently opened but there was a lot of misses with Tulum Mexican Kitchen.
My Wife and I ordered the following:
Drinks-agua minerales preparada. Refreshing but in my opinion a bit expensive at $8.99.
Appetizer-Chicharrones with guacamole. What a bust! The chicharrones we're not crispy and we're cold. The guacamole did not have any lime flavor or salt. You get about ten chips with it. The chips were also undercooked. Not worth the money at all.
Entrees-chicken tinga tostadas. My Wife said they were ok with not much flavor. Chicken mole started with a sweet taste then turned bitter. It was ok not too bad.
The waitress brought out our appetizer and my Wife's entree at the same time. My entree did not come out for another ten minutes afterwards. Their timing is off here. Other tables were receiving their entrees at separate times as well.
It was busy when we were there but I think that won't be long unless they change...
Read moreThe service at the restaurant was disappointing, as we were made to wait approximately 30 minutes to be seated despite the numerous empty tables. We ordered two servings of chilaquiles, clearly specifying twice that we wanted the eggs cooked over hard. However, when the dishes arrived, they were served with eggs over easy, and the server insisted that we had not placed the order correctly. Although she offered a dessert as compensation, we declined, as we were not interested in that option. Ultimately, we chose not to eat the chilaquiles because the eggs were not prepared as requested. It is essential for the establishment to improve staff training to ensure better...
