Bole Ethiopian Cuisine Maple Grove — Restaurant in Maple Grove

Ethiopian cuisine is one of my favorites and when I learned Bole has a new location in Maple Grove I had to check it out. I met a friend of mine here for dinner after work last week. It was my friends first time trying Ethiopian food and she really loved it.

It's a very cute small place with great service and delicious food. The owner explained the menu to us and recommended a few dishes. We tried the beef sambusas, fried chicken wings which the owner wanted us to try. Both delicious but the Chicken wings were so good, perfectly spiced. Will get it again for sure. For entree we got Awaze tibs but with fish and red lentils, yellow lentils and a cabbage dish for sides. The entree came with their traditional bread injira. Everything was so delicious. This was my first time eating Ethiopian and everything was delicious! Our server made it easy to order by making recommendations. The Tour of Ethiopia is a good menu item for a small group of people and to get a good mix of traditional menu items. I highly recommend the Injera bread! The owner came by our table for a few minutes as well, and you can tell that he and his wife care deeply about sharing good food with their customers. I was so impressed the first time I had dine at Bole in Maple Grove that I invited a friend who drove all the way from Oakdale, Mn to join me the second time within the same week. We both had never ate Ethiopian food before. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and the music fit in perfectly with the vibe. Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
