This review is specific to the pickleball league I was in, and nothing else. I was in the fall Co-ed ladder league.
At the beginning of the league there was an email sent out to set up a DUPR account, so that matches and your rating could be tracked via that system. A lot of members did not sign up, and DUPR was never recorded the entire league. Not once did staff mention DUPR in person, this was a problem.
The league was not run smoothly. On multiple occasions standings were not updated until the next week of the league started on that day. This means that you would not know your standing or what court you were on when you arrived at the facility. Not to mention that the last week of play was not recorded in the app at all so you never knew your final standing. This is just unprofessional and for a $180 dollar league a problem.
Another issue was that the first week of matches were lost, and all standings not recorded. It essentially meant that the first week of play meant nothing.
A few additional notes -The lighting in the facility is good -The courts and surfaces are great, there are proper dividers between courts which is a nice quality of life addition -The nets are good, and allow you to roll the ball underneath the net between points.
I think the leagues could be improved a lot, and hopefully they will the longer this...
Read moreSo unique! This is mostly a self-service establishment. You give them a card at the front desk, and they give you a credit card for your visit.
DRINKS: You serve yourself all of the drinks that they offer, mostly beer, but a few seltzers, and if you mix drinks by putting the card into a slot above the drink. They charge by the ounce, so the fun thing is, you can try lots of things, essentially creating your own flight. The drinks are mostly beer, with 2 white wine and 2 red wine choices as well as a margarita and Old Fashioned (there might have been another drink choice) and 2 fun sounding mocktails.
FOOD: UPDATE: They now have servers for the food which is great! You can still do the below, or just order from your server.
There is a QR code at your table where you can access the menu and orderZ food. You do get a text when your food is ready, but we weren't paying attention, and one of the weight staff brought our food out to us because she noticed it was sitting there for a bit.
We sat on the patio and noticed quite a few young families with one young child. They have lots of yard games set up, like corn hole and even a huge "connect 4" type game, so it would be fun to be able to go out without having to get a babysitter .
Overall, this is a unique place, and if you like mostly...
Read moreThere is no service to rate! The food was good, but overpriced. The really tacky thing about this restaurant is that when you go to pay they put a 15% tip on your bill. I know you can change it, but to even put that on a bill is terrible. The default should be zero. I believe in tipping, but I do not know honestly who they expect you to tip. You walk in give them your credit card info and your cell phone #. You order through your phone and they text you when your food is ready and you go pick it up. You get your own glasses and beverages. You get your own plastic silverware and bus your own table. Please tell me who is giving me service to tip. Poor concept! Your comment about your guest receiving 15% tip is ridiculous. If I paid the bill I would have gave them 100% tip because I never expected it. I was using my parents card who are older if I did not look I would have left zero. I left 10% just because I work in a tipping industry. The lady at the counter was rude and acted like we should know we should give up our credit card for no service. I have better service at fast food and they don't have a tip line. Nothing about this place upset me until they told me they don't want to pay there team members until u put a...
