I have been a loyal Aldi shopper since the store first opened. I’ve always appreciated the fresh produce and the affordability that makes shopping here convenient and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I will no longer be shopping at this location due to repeated negative experiences with the store manager, whose name begins with “J” (blonde hair).
This manager consistently demonstrates poor customer service and an unwelcoming attitude. Each week I have visited, she has come across as visibly unhappy, which reflects in her rude and disrespectful behavior toward customers. Today was the final straw, she nearly ran into me with a heavily loaded cart. While I understand that visibility with the carts can be limited, the lack of a simple “excuse me” or “I’m sorry” was shocking.
I want to emphasize that this is not based on a single incident. I have experienced similar behavior from her on multiple occasions, which I find unacceptable, especially from someone in a leadership position. For these reasons, I will be bringing this to the attention of Aldi corporate, as I believe she is in need of serious retraining in customer service and...
Read moreSeptember 9, 24, at 11:30 I was shopping at Aldi Maple Grove. Register person was so rude and unprofessional that she basically with her attitude told me you are not welcome to Aldi. She has Boby hair style bron hair with big vision glasses. I bought lots of stuff and had my bags along. She did not want not even 30 seconds for me to put everything in the bags she immediately said you need to be gast i need this cart I said sorry I’ll be quick she immediately with anger started pushing the cart without saying anything to me but i heard her along with another customer who stopped me outside and said wow she was very rude to you. I came last week she was very rude she doesn’t say hi or thank you she is just looking at me like im an alien. I come to Aldi once a week ever since it was open but from now on I’ll rather spend my $150+ on a weakly basis somewhere where I am welcomed and not being discriminated because of my accent. Aldi management good luck with that kind...
Read moreWhile there are a couple very nice and polite cashiers at this store, there are also some very rude cashiers here. I almost stopped shopping here about a year ago because during one visit, I was the only person waiting in line and the cashier saw me waiting but ignored me and continued to organize food on the shelves near her register. It was as though her attitude was “I don’t care - you can wait!” Then last time I was here, which was about three months ago, the cashier who rang me asked if I had found everything OK. When I told him no because I was looking for avocados that weren’t as hard as rocks, he cut me off while I was speaking and lectured me about how they have the best prices on avocados and produce and he just wouldn’t stop talking. He obviously didn’t care about my answer to his question. Because of this, I have not been back to this store since. And I live less than two miles...
