Subway — Restaurant in Maple Grove

I just stopped in to this location at 930 pm to pick up dinner before I headed to work for the overnight shift. When I pulled into the parking lot I noticed a man was making out with a woman inside of a tan Jeep there was another woman standing outside loitering near the picnic table smoking a cigarette all three of them kind of looked at me strange as I exited my vehicle and walked into the store. I walked into your establishment and no one was there to greet me and I stood around waiting for approximately 60 seconds, saying hello after abt 30 sec. After standing in the store for roughly a minute I heard the door open and close something slam on the table and then some commotion in the back I looked around the corner but I didn't see anybody and shortly thereafter a man appeared from behind the service line where you prepare the sandwiches. Sure enough it was the man who was making out with a woman inside of the Jeep in the parking lot. I asked him was that you who was just in the parking lot and he looks at me and said yep it sure was and glared at me as if to try to intimidate me. He was placing the plastic gloves on his hands to prepare a sandwich - not even bothering to wash his hands! I told him he didn't need to worry about helping me out with my order and that I was going to leave. I walked into the parking lot and the same woman who was loitering by the picnic table was now standing near my car still smoking and the woman in the jeep was starting to leave. I got in my car and as I was pulling out to leave the man who was working at the store, your employee was putting his coat back on to come back outside and hang out with his friends. I'm absolutely appalled at the poor customer service and lack of respect for your business to staff member had not only is he leaving your establishment unoccupied for anyone to come and steal anything but then the fact that he was out there making out having sexual contact with someone in the parking lot while on your time and then came in without washing his hands and was going to make someone's food is absolutely disgusting. I am disgusted and appalled by the behavior of your staff and will never frequent your restaurant again or any other Subway for that matter I cannot believe that this...

Not only the worst service I've received at a Subway, but at any restaurant ever. Having worked retail and the food service industry for years, I know how hard the job can be and would normally never leave a review unless it was positive, but the whole experience just sucked that badly. There were two male employees, neither of them said hello or smiled despite me smiling and being friendly. One of them was starting to make the sandwich but couldn't cut the bread so he tossed it in the garbage and his gloves and huffed like it was the greatest trouble in the world, looked like he was sucking on a lemon. The other guy came out, and I thought maybe he'd be better, but he just stared right through me when I said hello to him like he wished I wasn't there. Again, having worked in food, I get the feeling but still... it was just very bizarre. I had a long day of work and just couldn't stomach it and walked out to get something else. Will never go here again. Will still give 2 stars because it was clean and the food...

The two boys working today are very unprofessional. When we walked in, despite the line of 4 people in front of us, the dark haired boy (not wearing a hat, mind you - and wearing an airpod in one ear) interrupted his conversation with another customer to ask us if we were going to order. We got confused when walking in on where the line started as every subway location is different, but thank you for pointing out in front of everyone that we were a little lost. Also, I'm pregnant and asked for my ham to be heated up before placed on my sandwich and that seemed very difficult for him to comprehend such a request. When checking out, the same boy did not ask us if we'd like to use our subway rewards and when attempted to scan, the boy paid no attention whatsoever.
