Mr. Chicken — Restaurant in Maple Heights

Laughably small portion sizes for ridiculous prices with mean and aggressive workers. This was my first time trying Mr. Chicken and will be my last for sure! I ordered a chicken wrap, however, they were out of the "larger" chicken wraps and only had the smaller ones available. Thus, I ordered the smaller wrap meal deal. What I received was a 2 bite chicken tender wrap, medium sized drink, and about 10 fries for $8! It was so small, I burst out laughing at the pathetic portion size. Then, I was angry because it was expensive! You get more food in a kid's meal, honestly. It was definitely not filling, overpriced, and horrible quality. I could tell the chicken tender in the wrap was dry. This company is essentially stealing from customers. You will not feel full unless you probably spend about $25-30 on food for yourself. At that point, you might as well take yourself to a nice sit-down restaurant to receive better quality food and service. Also, I took an extra 10 seconds checking my bag at the drive-thru, and the person handing the food flung open the window to rudely ask, "IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN PUT IN THE BAG FOR YOU?!" It was terrible as the only thing open was their drive-thru so I had no choice but to use it. I wanted to make sure I got what I paid for, because as you know, fast food places have a knack for leaving out food constantly. Uncertain why I received such a nasty attitude when I was nothing but nice to both the person at the speaker and the one taking the money. I definitely did not deserve that type of treatment and it was uncalled for. I get working with the public all day gets grating, but my goodness, I wasn't even saying anything, just checking my bag. It definitely ruined my day to be treated in that manner. This was just one of the most terrible experiences I've encountered at any restaurant that has the gall to horrendously overprice and underdeliver in every aspect. I would recommend avoiding this establishment as it is terrible in nearly every category. I asked for the tenders meal (it was on the menu that it came with fries and a medium drink). I was given the tenders dinner with two sides (coleslaw and green beans) that I absolutely do not eat I didn’t even want give it to my son because it didn’t look appealing. I wasn’t even asked which side I wanted, they picked for me. I asked at the window if the meal I asked for came with fries and the first worker didn’t know what to tell me but the worker she went and got (or manger) came to the window hostile like I was asking for a whole free meal or was asking for my money back, which I should’ve. “MA’ma whats the problem?!?” I wasn’t even trying to be difficult but she was very unwelcoming. I wasn’t asked if I wanted sauce with my tenders and to top it all off, my tenders wasn’t completely done. A complete waste of money, I threw my chicken and nasty sides away. It was an terrible experience, never again!!! Last time I went the workers was really sweet but I guess they don’t work there no more because all the workers I talked to on 10/31 had terrible attitudes!!! i went for a family meal and i was waiting in this long line to begin with. Which i expected due to it being a Wednesday the day mr chicken has the 3 piece special. So that wasn't the worst so i placed my order repeated my choice of chicken for the 32.99 family meal double mash and cole slaw and i believe 4 biscuits. My kids had sports practice and i wasn't going to cook. I don't eat at the other chicken place this is my go-to for everyone. I asked for thighs and legs 2 wings and 2 breast. I only had thighs and legs one wing. My biscuits was hard and smashed in the bag my cole slaw was hot because it set on top of the mashed potatoes which where like runny soup both of them. Daughter asked is this how these suppose to look she showed me and i looked at the second one it was runny so, no one ate them and after waiting in that long line after 2 sports events we were hungry and we couldn't enjoy our meal due to the food not being correct.
