Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Maple Heights

We order here often, or at least we used to. This is the second or third time I have paid for and an excuse,lie, or anything but the over $50 worth food is all I get. This time I got hung u o on by the lying delivery person. We have "VIVINT" it shows she was not here as long as she claims. She didn't knock or even think to leave it on the stool st the front near the doorbell CAMERA! They only do this at. Closing. I will get my money back THIS time, unlike the first rip off by East Cleveland Papa John's. I had a felonious assault. Three months later my husband's favorite/& last baby brother died, July. My best friend/son died on R 21st Anniversary; this caused me t I have a stroke August. I say to my spouse this is the worst year I f my life. Two weeks later my husband died at work. The pizza and chicken okay but hanging up would have cost the old me or someone like myself, especially during the season S,A.D., as I have, t I commit suicide. Our home i s Mum 75 on her 7th stroke & I on my first 55yo. Your people need much more respect to keep customers. Look in t he records you will see we were loyal regular customers. Friendly, courteous staff. My three orders there have been prepared perfectly and on time when I went to pick them up. Not the world's best pizza of course, but the staff do things right and the results are solid. Papa Johns isn't my first pizza choice but I like variety, so I'm sure I'll go back some time, without hesitation.

UPDATE: Taking a 5-star review down to 3. The past several orders I've made have not been too great. The puffy edge crust that the chain is known for, which they even brag about, has been nonexistent. Flat crust, all the way around, every time lately. It's like they ran out of dough and sourced a substitute from Little Caesar's or something. I'll give them another try sometime but probably not for a while. Too bad, it seems like big name chain pizza, which should at least be consistent (whether you love or hate what they do), is no longer something you can count on, and...

Placed a delivery order and got the notification that the driver had my order and was on the way. Couldn't track it even though the tracker said it was on its way. 35 minutes go by (the drive time is 10 minutes) and I call the store and go through the automated machine first. "We are running behind and your order is on its way." Real specific. So I call through to the store, and the guy answering says like five words really quickly and immediately puts me on hold before I can figure out what he said or ask to repeat it. A minute or two on hold and he says that it "should be there any minute now." I don't even know how the Papa Johns website determined that this location was best for delivery even though it's not even the closest location. It took almost another 10 minutes for the food to finally arrive. I wouldn't have had any problem if it was communicated to me that it was going to be late and...
