New Asian Delight — Restaurant in Maple Heights

This is my favorite local quick Chinese place. They stopped delivering to our house during the pandemic but we still drive out of our way to pick up take out from there. Hot fresh classic American style Chinese food. Love their hot and sour soup— it’s filling and chock full of pork, tofu, and mushrooms. The chicken stick appetizer is scrumptious, we always get two orders of those. Try the Tori teriyaki chicken if you want something savory with zero heat. As with most cheap Chinese takeout joints I do not recommend ordering beef dishes, but anything made with chicken, shrimp, or pork has always been good. If you order direct from the restaurant you save money versus delivery service apps.

I had an order which included 4 shrimp egg rolls, only 3 egg rolls were delivered. When I call to talk to someone, they put me on hold for awhile before asking me a bunch of questions. I was asked if I could come and pick the roll up. I said no, that's why I ordered it. I said I wanted the roll delivered or take the amount of of the bill. I was put on hold again, then hung up on. It's not the $1.75 that upsets me, but the total disrespect that the restaurant manger had for me as a customer. Asian, black, or white, if the shoe was on the other foot how would she feel. This is the great place to eat, I love their food it's always so delicious no matter what I get. Not only is the food excellent, but they truly care, the other day I ordered some food that had shrimp in it, see I'm allergic to shrimp, because it was a call in order, they call me back to remind me that the food I had ordered had shrimp in it, I explained it was not for me. That showed me that they really cared, most restaurants would not have done that. Thank you...
