Starbucks — Restaurant in Maple Valley

I’ve been coming here for months and sad to say since day one, not one person here has made me feel welcome. I go to tons of locations in surrounding areas, Kent and Covington. All the baristas at those locations got to know me and we had such a good time in the morning catching up while waiting for my coffee. I’m sad I was transferred out here because I miss my other baristas. All the baristas here can’t wait to get you out of their window and close said window before you even leave, they act like me even ordering there is a bother to them. SO SAD. I’ve never had this experience at other locations. Kent is a very rough neighborhood, and Maple Valley is considered very high end suburbs area. I’d take kent over this...

Its a shame bc i live 6 blocks from these guys. These guys always understaffed.. drive through seems like they have long conversations with every car. And they mess up my drink order regularly. I go to various Starbucks and always order the same thing.. caramel latte and kids hot cocoa for my grand daughter. Everyone else seems to get it right. Then when i return it.. they tell me i ordered it wrong. Lol.. jeeze.. Most of the time i find it quicker to walk in .. but last weekend i waited 20 minutes for my drink before i canceled and left. I suspect it will get better. Starbucks seems to correct these situations most...

Great location with lots of places to sit and relax. Easy parking, and I had good experiences with the drive thru and the baristas inside.

Today, though, on 12/21/2022, the store clearly had a sense of humor and sent me a matcha lemonade with absolutely no liquid in it. So I just got the powder, which, by the way, you're required to select in DoorDash for this item. I didn't say No Ice, No Water, or No Lemonade.

So... Maybe don't order that item...
