Ting Tong Thai — Restaurant in Maple Valley

Honestly this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Covington Maple Valley area. Way better than their local competitors on flavor, and quantity. We had got the Red Curry Noodles with beef, the Pad Basil Beef as well as I had ordered chicken Pad Thai and a Thai Iced Coffee. However the waitress was very distracted even though we were one of the only people in there, she just was a little scatterbrained and had a hard time inputting our order into their digital handheld system. They ended up bringing out a Thai Iced Tea instead of a Coffee which we promptly sent back and got the correct item. Then when they started bringing out the food they had screwed up and did a beef Pad Thai instead of a chicken Pad Thai after I had noticed the waitress never came by the table again and I didn't feel like hunting her down to complain about it anymore and just ate what came. I wasn't a big fan of the beef in the Pad Thai I would rather have had chicken but it was still good tasting even though it was not what I was craving. Even with the hiccups in the customer service this is the must eat Thai food restaurant in Maple Valley Covington. I have been looking for a decent Thai restaurant in Maple Valley and after reading reviews, decided to try this one. I ordered Maasaman curry after reading a very enthusiastic review, 2 stars. I had never had this particular dish before, but I found myself disappointed. First of all, the rice was underdone and a bit crunchy, which really took away from the overall dish. Fabulous! Seated right away. Started with Spring rolls-probably the best we’ve ever had. Hubby had the Pad thai with chicken, I had the pad Vegetable with tofu. We loved our choices! They brought an assortment of toppings-chili oil, Sriracha, etc. Both meals perfectly cooked and steaming hot from the kitchen. Service with a smile, water filled quickly.
