I can't share any of the read reviews and I am quiet surprised by these past impressions. The way I would summarize mine is the moment you walk in this family managed business it makes you feel at home. Food wise I never experienced Haitian cuisine before but I can distinguish high quality food from places you should avoid. Me and 3 colleagues walked in just by accident being in Maplewood but each single one of our group of four decided to come back again with our families. One advice I would give to people going to Miriam's place is be hungry and expect your taste buds to be more than just satisfied when leaving. Read moreI always have an amazing experience at this restaurant! I ordered the red snapper with black rice, and it was absolutely delicious. It always so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the love and authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.
