I don't like writing reviews and especially bad ones, but I have to say something here. I ordered lunch. Built a small bowl with white rice, Mojo Chicken, steamed broccoli and topped it off with the honey Dijon sauce. With a side of Cauli-tots and the brussel bites.

I was excited try the food here and based on the decisions I made was hoping for the best! I don't know if it was the flavor combinations, or if it was an off day in the kitchen but of the three different items I tried, none of them were satisfactory or yummy.

When picking the honey Dijon sauce for a bowl, KEEP IN MIND, the sauce is VERY tangy, to the point that it covers up almost all other flavors from the chicken. Which is unfortunate, because overall the chicken had a decent flavor.

The brussel sprouts were a sad excuse for a typical side. The curry seasoning does not compliment the hard to match flavor of a brussel sprout, and no matter how much "garlic aioli" you dunk it in, it doesn't take away from the just bad flavor combination of the curry powder and brussel flavor.

Lastly, the cauliflower "tots" (which I expected to be more chunks of battered cauliflower) was more of a seasoned cauliflower mush that was then formed and baked into a tot shape. The consistency was not pleasant, but the flavor was OK.

Overall, I'm disappointed in the food that I received and am bummed that this local spot didn't hold up to the other reviews online. I'm sorry to talk bad about a local spot, but I honestly didn't enjoy any of the food and found something else to...

UPDATE: As you can see, RK reached out and invited me back to try something on the house. I’m so glad I had the opportunity because it was a game-changer. This time I ordered a bowl and made sure to add avocado and a sauce. The avocado would have been better sliced and added to the top of the bowl (it came on the side, mashed up like guac) but still added healthy fats and flavor. I did a rice & quinoa, tofu, sweet potatoes, and collard greens. You can mix up the proteins, veggies, and sauces for so many flavor combos! I honestly can’t wait to try another bowl. The garlic aioli was fire and the large bowl gave me enough for a little snack later. Changed my rating from a 2 to a 4 and will definitely be back!

OG Post: I really wanted to like this place - it has so much potential! I ordered the Pollo Escoba Grilled Burrito & Small Brussel Bites and there was zero flavor!!?! I had to get halfway through the wrap to find the cheese. I did not receive the garlic aioli for the brussels, but if I had, it would have gone right onto the burrito to give it some flavor! Y’all need some sauces/condiments/SOMETHING! I saved the other half of my wrap burrito thing to eat at home with some kind of sauce🙏🌯 *It is cool that they have a drive-thru. In a pinch I would order on my way home to make sure I had the...

I want to like this place. The healthy food industry needs more restaurants like this. But I cannot get over the food. There is a line between simple and bland, and unfortunately revel borders the line of bland. And before you say “some people don’t want all the seasonings or salt” there are alternatives that are salt free and can still make your food taste good. We spent almost 40 dollars on two small bowls and two small sides. The Brussels sprouts were roasted without anything, so they were just soggy Brussels sprouts. Along with the sweet potato side that again, could’ve benefited from a sprinkle of cinnamon or salt free seasoning. My bowl was good, it was brown rice, mojo chicken, steamed carrots and cilantro lime dressing on the side. The other bowl we got was chicken, steamed broccoli, brown rice with a mustard bbq type sauce. It needed teriyaki which wasn’t an option.

The other reason I gave this one star is the people took the order through the drive through, but when I got to the window not one word was exchanged regardless of my greeting. They asked for a tip on the credit card reader too. Got our food from the window without any words at all. She didn’t tell me my total ; she didn’t greet or say goodbye, didn’t say thank you or anything. It was...

Excited about healthy fast food and my boyfriend got canes next door so I figured I’d try this out. Wasn’t sure what I wanted. Thought about a salad for awhile but ultimately decided on a mango matcha smoothie and a small Brussels and small cauliflower tater tots. My experience started with being asked to hold then just sitting there for at least 5 mins with no one else in line. I ordered, I got to the window and was asked on the card reader a million questions including a tip. I left 10% cause the only thing I needed for me to leave a decent tip is to be helped fast. Hints why it’s trying to be fast food. Anyways I try the smoothie and it’s very good. Then I see the boxes of sides and it’s comically small for $5. See picture. The cauliflower was nothing close to a tater tot. Try soft, smushed hush puppy instead. Weird flavor and it tasted like straight bread? No crisp. Then I tried the Brussels. Oh how they were the worst Brussels I’ve ever tasted. No crisp what so ever. Just steamed mush that looked rolled in curry powder. This left thick powder and slime texture in my mouth. What the hell are they thinking. I won’t be back. I may try the salads next time and get a smoothie again. But man I’m not impressed and frankly I’m embarrassed for them.
