I went to see Kristin for a hair cut based off all positive reviews here. My experience is very disappointing. If you have fine hair, but a lot of it, requiring your stylist attention to detail, patience and meticulous technique this is not your place. Right from the start what surprised me was that Kristin didn’t take any time to study my hair, understand its texture and flow when dry, but instead headed straight for the wash. I tried to verbally educate, but it’s not the same thing. The hair cut was done in 15-20 min, which was another surprise, especially when I realized how much of length was gone. The haircut itself was quite poorly executed. When I came home and brushed through the hair i realized there is no flow or coherence between longer and shorter hair, no attention to detail to ensure when hair moves it keeps the shape, the back is choppy and flat. I should have pointed out all this on the spot, but was too upset with the length change and wanted to leave. Amanda is incredible!!! She did my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and I felt so beautiful all evening! She was great to talk to, and her work was amazing! My updo remarkably withstood hours of enthusiastic dancing/jumping around, and my makeup stayed wonderful all night - even my lipstick looked good after I ate a meal! She was so kind and did a great job of making my hair/makeup fit my style/preferences. I went here yesterday for the first time and I must say, I had a great experience! Kristin was able to squeeze me in for an appointment on Saturday, which I believe is an appointment only day, she did an amazing job with my cut and color! My regular stylist didn’t do a very good job the last time I saw her so I wanted to find a place to fix what had been done.
