Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Marana

Last Thursday was one of the hardest days of my life. However, Kayla was the light in that dark day, and I am so thankful for her. She may never know how fully I appreciate her and her kindness, but I will try to paint that picture here. My fur baby, Athena's health was declining quickly through the week, and she had a vet appointment that afternoon. I had a feeling that this would be our last drive together, and I needed to get Athena her favorite treat: a pup cup. The lines in the drive thru were so long so I used the walk-up window. Kayla took my order: a pup cup, and 3 drinks for me and my children. She had her head down while taking my order but popped her head up when I accidentally snorted from trying to quietly cry. She immediately said, "Oh my gosh, are you ok?" I explained to her that, unfortunately, this was probably my fur baby's last pup cup and ride in the car as we were making hard decisions that day. I reached for my card, and she said, "Nope, drinks are on us. You need to take care of you and your baby." Her kindness and generosity at that moment were beyond anything that I ever expected. When she and Dedx completed the order, I of course had to show pictures of Athena (she was in the backseat of the car due to immobility) and tried to thank them between tears. I gave Athena her pup cup before we even left the parking lot, and she loved it. An hour later, Athena passed away. First time visiting this location, and honestly pretty disappointing compared to other locations. Ordered a cold brew w/ no milk or cream, and light ice, and it comes back with cream and filled top to bottom w/ ice. I politely said it was supposed to have no cream and light ice, the broista offered to remake it, took it back and threw it in the trash (quite violently), then brought a drink with no cream but still chock full of ice. I started to say “it still has-“ she cut me off with “have a great day” and slammed the window. I was never rude, I just wanted the drink I ordered made right the first (or second) time. I realize people are human, so I was quite patient and polite, but this was frustrating as there was basically no coffee in my cup and it...

Very disappointed with the customer service from the new girl (blonde). I don’t know her name, but her attitude is terrible. This is the third time I’ve dealt with her, and both times she’s been rude, uninterested, and nothing like the friendly, helpful staff I’m used to here.
