This was my first experience eating Nicaraguan cuisine and I was delighted with everything. I ordered the sampler plate which generously included roasted beef, pork, sausage and chicken thigh and 2 pieces of cheese. All were tender and flavorful due to the marinade preparation. On the side was a huge helping of beans/rice, fried green plantains strips and a vinegary cabbage slaw. A jar of vinegar onions were offered to the table as a garnish for the meats.    Read moreFour of us went for dinner expecting to eat Nicaraguan food. We were handed menus for Italian and seafood. We thought maybe the Nicaraguan food was only served at lunch or the restaurant recently changed menus/ownership. We decided to order what was offered. We learned later (after reading other reviews) that we should have asked for a different menu. The Italian food was mediocre at best.
Too late, we noticed another table was offered both menus by their server. Our server did not. Our server was also slow and not available when needed.

Michelle our waitress was wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. She recommended the platter and the Tiramisu which both were delicious.
