Tesoro Restaurant at JW Marco Island: A complete Gastronomic Experience
đ´ Nestled within the luxurious JW Marco Island, Tesoro restaurant offers an enchanting dining experience that tantalizes the senses and creates unforgettable memories. During our visit, we indulged in a delightful spread that showcased Marriott's culinary expertise and impeccable service.
đ The Food: We started with succulent chicken wings, perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy within. Accompanied by a fresh and vibrant Greek salad, the flavors were a refreshing prelude to the main course. The standout was undoubtedly the hamburgerâa gourmet masterpiece with a perfectly seasoned patty, waiting in a soft bun along a considerable chunk of bacon, and complemented by crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a dollop of chef's special sauce.
đš The Drinks: To complement our meal, we explored a variety of spritzes. The limoncello spritz was a citrusy burst of freshness, while the Aperol spritz with prosecco offered a delightful balance of bitterness and effervescence. Carlos, our server, epitomized excellence, suggesting drink pairings, snapping photos, and even crafting a special spritz for her to conclude our meal. His attention to detail and warm hospitality elevated our dining experience.
đ The Ambiance: Dining at Tesoro is more than just a meal; it's an experience. Seated on the terrace with its breathtaking views, we found ourselves enveloped in a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. The comfortable cushioned chairs made us feel right at home, allowing us to relax and savor each moment.
â¤ď¸ Experience: Sharing laughs, admiring the stunning vista, and enjoying each flavorful bite, our meal at Tesoro became a cherished memory. It's in these moments that we realize food is a powerful medium of communication, evoking emotions and forging connections.
đ Gratitude: We share our passion for food here. Every meal is a chance to express gratitude for life, each other's presence, and the moments we create together. Thank you for joining us on this culinary adventure.

Read moreDefinitely could have been 5 stars if we felt more welcomed.. My 21st bday yesterday and my mom took us to celebrate We had reservations, but we arrived early because it said first come first serve for outdoor seating, when arriving there was no host, the first guy we saw we said âhi! we have reservations but we wanted to sit outsideâ He then was kinda like âyeah so the host is at the front and sheâll help you with all of thatâ kinda little snooty like we missed the host or something lol.. he then walked over and said âactually sheâs not here right now but you can go sit at the barâ Okkkk (we were there early for outdoor seaitng, there were already people sitting outdoor as well) there were a lot of empty seats so we just went and sat and enjoyed the view which was beautiful. then we went to the bar The bartender was SO sweet and so amazing, she was training a guy and she was so so so nice. loved her. there was also another bartender later through the nice and he was great as well. We then found the host later and my mom pointed to the seat weâd like (a lot of seats available but we wanted to communicate the one i liked) and she said if we sit there now will receive a lunch menu (10 mins till dinner) So we said okay and just waited i said like 5 times to my mom i felt like we werenât going to be served and that they donât like us đđ We then went over to our seats at 5:10 ish and nobody came over till 5:25. Whatevs the view and area is beautiful I then ordered the wagyu, medium rare, it came out cold & it was more like medium, not a lot of pink but not to the point of well done i love me a steak and i was very hungry so yes i ate all of it, but 68$ for a steak that wasnât cooked how i asked and cold instantly was sucky. but thatâs okay. Ordered a margarita with our server and it tasted fizzy, the one at the bar was not fizzy so that was weird lol. Got cheesecake at the end which was very good, our waiter also took it off the check which was super nice that was super sweet! Very beautiful place but disappointing that from the beginning we didnât feel very welcomed (besides the amazing bartender(s) and sucky about...
Read moreWe visited for our anniversary. We booked a table inside, but arrived early to find a table we preferred outside instead. The outdoor area is furnished nicely. The views of the beach and gulf are excellent.
We had two nice cocktails to start: the blood orange margarita and a G&T. Both were great.
Our waitress was very nice and available to us when we needed her.
We werenât impressed by the options for the main dishes on the menu and decided to order various tapas and a salad. The portion sizes here are all over the map. For the olives, the portion size was huge. For the croquetas de jamon (best thing we had), the portion size was tiny. The chorizo dish was also huge and really kind of weird â huge chunks of chorizo with red peppers in an oil likely cooked out of the chorizo. It was good but rich, and we could only eat a few pieces each. Photo included was taken after we had eaten what we could. The burrata salad was what I would consider a normal size and was acceptable.
We made an attempt to order a bottle of champagne. We chose the Ruinart Blanc de Blanc. Our waitress came back to say they were looking for it because they âkeep the expensive bottles in another place.â That raised a tiny alarm bell, but we waited to hear more. Eventually, someone else came over with a different option that they had leftover in the back because it had been on a previous menu. We initially agreed to have it, but were not happy with being presented with a cheaper option and one with a huge markup. We asked to have it taken away, passed on choosing another, and went down to the beach area for cocktails before going home.
Iâve heard more positive reviews of lunch here, but not sure I would make an effort for that unless I was in the area. Overall, a great setting but a mediocre...
