If you’ve spent any time on Marco Island, you know the dining scene can be hit-or-miss—plenty of places trading on beach-town charm but serving up overpriced, underwhelming meals. That’s why The Deck at 560, located inside the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort, was such a welcome surprise.

Let’s get this out of the way first: yes, it’s in a hotel. In fact, The Deck is quietly serving some of the best meals on the island, all while offering breathtaking views of the Gulf and service that’s on-point from the moment you sit down.

The menu here is tight but thoughtful—fresh seafood, properly cooked proteins, vibrant salads, and well-balanced cocktails. I’ve had the grouper and the filet on separate visits, and both exceeded expectations. Even basics like the burger and Caesar salad were done with care. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, and that’s part of the appeal.

What really caught me off guard? The prices. For the quality and experience, The Deck is actually less expensive than many of the so-called “dives” on the island, where you’re often paying $25+ for a deep-fried platter served on a plastic tray. Here, you’re getting better ingredients, better prep, and honestly, a better value.

Service was excellent both times we visited—warm, attentive, and informed without being overbearing. The staff is clearly well-trained and cares about the guest experience. You’re not waiting 15 (or 45) minutes for a drink refill or flagging someone down for the check.

As for the setting, it’s hard to beat. The outdoor terrace overlooks the beach, and if you can time it right, it’s one of the best sunset dining views on the island. Inside, the space is clean, modern, and just upscale enough to feel special without being stuffy.

If you’re looking for sand under your feet and live Jimmy Buffett covers, this isn’t your spot. The Deck doesn’t try to replicate the dive bar experience—and that’s the point. It’s an elevated, more relaxed alternative that lets you unwind without sacrificing quality. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a glass of wine with your grouper and still wear your resort-casual clothes without a second thought.

You need to make a reservation in advance—especially during season or around sunset. It books up quickly, and walk-ins can face a long wait or miss out entirely. Parking is easy if you’re already staying at the Hilton, but valet is available even for...

I have eaten here for Breakfast , For Lunch and For Dinner, all at separate occasions and I will review all three experiences; The service was excellent and the view and location are amazing as it is on Marco Island ( Inside of the Hilton). I usually sit on the outside deck for ambiance and catching a sunset there is spectacular. They Have House Specials and very fast and attentive service. I have never had to wait long but for special occasions one may want to reserve at open table, just in case. The breakfast was unique, poached eggs over grilled veggies, sweet potatoes etc which was a homemade styled “hash” and very delicious. We also added avocado toast and it was soooo delicious as well… The portions were very satisfying. My Boyfriend opted for the breakfast buffet which was terrific as well and with the buffet option he had a made to order omelet and many other goodies which were plentiful and unique to most buffets. We had lattes and they came with a candy sugar stick for a unique touch. For Lunch, I will boast that I have had this dish three times: A grilled Shrimp Cesar Salad , but I ask to hold the anchovies to the side- The shrimp are very large and the salad is as well! This is so delicious and you can’t go wrong! For an appetizer we wanted try the grilled calamari which was unique and served over seaweed salad. I am a fan of seafood and for others who are not, it’s ok because they have a variety of options to chose from. For Dinner, I ordered the whole grilled Pompano and Broccolini over mashed potatoes with a glass of house merlot. The fish and Broccolini were divine, which usually pairs with rice but I like mashed potato’s so I asked to deviate from the menu and my server had no objection. My Boyfriend ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection, great job chef! Everyone has always been kind and attentive to my requests. Again, an excellent place to go for any meal and great service on the beach with a beautiful classy atmosphere, bon apetito! - If you ever are in a rush, want to walk the beach and eat a “slice” they have a pizza oven at their “to-go” market and I will say it is delicious as well as their unique flatbreads ! We have grabbed a few of those in a hurry as well and they feed 2 people , in a hurry, and priced...

We stopped for dinner on Monday at 16:45, and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was not busy at this hour, but it was several minutes before our server arrived. We ordered a cocktail and waited several more minutes before our server returned with our drinks. We ordered the soup but did not order our entrees. More time without seeing our server before our soup arrived. Our soup was delivered by another server, and our server never stopped to check on us or if everything was okay. Our soup was cold, and we had to engage another server to find our server. Our server finally arrived and asked if we wanted our soup warmed up...no, we want our soup served hot...not cold. Our server took the cold soup and, after more time, returned with soup at the correct temperature. Considering the amount time up to this point and the very slow service, we decided to order our entrees. As you might expect, a lot more time expired before our server returned with our entrees. At no time did our server follow up for more drinks, but she did follow up after delivering our entrees to ask if everything was okay. We finished our entrees and then waited for our server to return to order coffee and dessert. Finally, our server made it back to our table, and we ordered coffee. More time passed before the coffee and cream arrived...but no spoons. I decided to throw caution to the wind and asked the server if it was her habit to serve coffee and cream without spoons. She apologized and retrieved the spoons. We requested our check, and she quickly returned with the check. The quickest service we had received since being seated. Apologies, but I failed to mention that our server decided not to charge us for the coffee. So if you are in Marco Island, not too hungry, and have a lot of time on your hands, then stop by The Deck @560 for extremely slow service, a bland meal, and maybe a cocktail. Bring a book because you will have time to finish a few chapters. I do not recommend...

We stayed at the Hilton Resort on Marco Island where The Deck 560 was restaurant onsite. This is our second trip here with an overall positive experience. Susan was our server every evening .. as we requested her after our first night. She was friendly, experienced, and kindly related to us. She remembered our drinks of choice from night one and always shared suggestions she knew we would like. She was attentive but not overwhelmingly so. We thoughly enjoyed her and her knowledge. Roberta, the bartender, made our cocktails perfectly and served them with a smile and pleasant conversation. She clearly was experienced at her trade. The food was good but would have liked more menu options. The atmosphere was a bit noisy but in their defense there were many families with children there since it was a holiday week. However, sitting inside was the preferred area since the area on the deck seemed to get harassed with birds and annoying insects. We saw quite a few patrons abandon their outside tables and move inside. Room service was only offered for a 4 hour period, ending at 9pm. That was a bit disappointing. The gentleman that seemed to be the front of the house manager was attentive, friendly, and prompt to ensure a positive experience. We will return but will probably be a stay that covers weekdays to have a more relaxing experience… and not over a holiday. Note… we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner during our stay at there.
