Marco Island Center for the Arts — Attraction in Marco Island

just wanted to say how much I love the studio — it’s such a great space, and it’s wonderful that you offer complimentary summer classes for kids. My daughter really enjoyed it, and I know a lot of other families feel the same way.

That’s why I was a little bummed to hear from the front desk that there won’t be any kids’ classes in the fall. I totally get that adult programming is important too, but it’s too bad there’s not at least a workshop or two for children during the school year.

It would be amazing to see even just one class a week for kids — something to keep them engaged and inspired throughout the year.

Cannot believe how many times I had been on Marco Island & never went to this "slightly" hidden GEM!! Most visitors concentrate on what is in front of them along Collier Blvd, but do yourself a favor and find Marco Island Center for the Arts, on Winterberry Drive, just off Collier Blvd. There is a reception, open to the public, the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30 - 7 PM...wine & refreshments while you enjoy the wonderful local art. This Art Center is fantastic... Beautiful works of art in oil, acrylic... Photography, film, clay and so much more! All types of classes available at the center and online, with new posts going up all the time... Hopefully the 2nd Tuesday shows will be starting up again soon... Great team, lead by Executive Director Hyla Crane, making this all possible... This should be a regular place for locals and a top 10 things to do for anyone that visits...
