Captain D's — Restaurant in Marianna

I came to Capitan D'S here in marianna I came at 9:30 I just got off work and all I wanted was to pick up a hot meal before heading home. When we came to the speaker there was a car already ordering we sat behind them for about 5 mins lady pulls up than we pull up to the speaker it took them a couple minute's to even say ANYTHING! They couldn't even greet us right. They exact words was "Give us a Minute!!! We sat there patiently for 15 whole mins and they turn the menu lights off so as we came around we notice the car that was behind us didn't leave they went to the window another 10 mins goes by this lady was knocking constantly and they refuse to come to window and take our order. Eventually the car in front of us park and the guy on the passenger side comes out to SEE if he can enter the restaurant but nope it was locked as WELL. Which I figured it would have been. I'm not sure what time lobby close because I always go through drive through. I couldn't be more upset and bother with how unprofessional they were. I probably will no longer come here!!! I'm pretty sure they won't even be fired. I work at a fast food place.... I'm a manager and I know what's to be expected and this was not it!! SHAME ON YOU!!! Me and my family, along with close friends have been doing a survey on our Marianna restaurants. We have dined in a few times over the past month or so and I must say that the food and service has been spot on. The New GM has done an outstanding job bringing in new hires/ cooks,etc. My wife Beth actually told the cook this past Sunday while eating lunch that the fish was absolutely amazing. He was polite and kind and very appreciative for the compliment. It's important to give compliments to the workers when the food and service are fantastic. Captain D's is one of our favorite places to eat. We just started back coming because we heard that the restaurant was under new management. We tried both lunch and dinner times and decided that lunch time is better because the cook , the older lady who fixes the food and the young lady who wears the head set are the best team we've experienced by far. I wish I knew all there names. I just know the cook has a really bright smile . Please take the time to let those workers know we appreciate the service and food. Went through the drive thru beginning at 10:33 am. this morning and waited and waited, but no one took my order. I proceeded to drive thru several more times and still nothing. I pulled up to the window to ask if the drive thru was working but was ignored by two of the workers who were just standing there doing nothing. They would come close to the window but would act as though they couldn't see me sitting there. I 1ried to ask one of them if the drive thru was working or whether I needed to come in. The girl just waved me off, acting like she couldn't hear me. By now, it's 11:00 and I'm giving up. It's a shame because this Captain Ds has always had great service. My family and I eat there often but won't be back until these two women workers learn what it takes to show good customer service.
