My family are big fans of Bahama Bucks and have been customers for 10 years and were happy that a location opened up closer to where we live. Sadly, our experience tonight is inexcusable. We ordered a small two flavored shaved ice and a baby single flavored shaved ice. However, when we got to the window one was made at a larger size. The person at the window did offer to charge me for the smaller size, but I didn't mind paying due to the fact that we love their product. My daughter and I start making our way home only to find the middle of the larger order completely white and flavorless in the middle. So we turned around and went back to the store. Upon entering I politely asked for the item to be remade since it was white and flavorless in the middle. No questions were asked and I was quickly on my way. We're turning out of the shopping center when my daughter says, dad, its still white in the middle. Whoa! really!! I'm thinking ok, they must be having a rough night. But we're going back for them to remake it, again. As i walk in, all eyes are on me as i walk over to the pickup station and set the cup down. The shift leader, Paige approaches and asks what the problem is. I say, take a look, it doesn't have enough syrup and with a lot of "sass" asks if i want it remade. I said, yes, third time's a charm. She then begins to argue with me in front of the entire staff, saying that the 1st time I came back, that there was no white in the middle. I calmly explained that we were almost home and by the time we got back it must have soaked up some of the syrup. Please don't think we ate the whole thing and wanted a freebee. This thing was still intact, it was just poorly made. When the shift lead was done with her rant, with even more "sass" she stormed away to remake the item and i asked her if I was being unreasonable and asking for too much. She then sited, again, that the 1st time i returned was somehow my fault. So instead of the remake, I asked for my money back. She motioned for me to go to the register for my refund while she stormed back to her station. A minute later she approached the register and apologized, but it was so she could explain that i should let my shaved ice sit for a minute or two so all the syrup can go through the cup. I let her know that I appreciate the information, but that it really didn't matter as i would not be returning to that location again.
This is the absolute worst example of a supposed leader. She was the person leading the crew of about 8 staff members. I will never play "the customer is always right" card, but I expect polite and considerate service. Especially from the manager on duty. She was argumentative when she was clearly in the wrong. Her apology was empty and completely lacked empathy. She was unprofessional to the point that she was huddling up with the team while they all snickered and gave dirtily glances while I was getting my refund at the opposite end of the shop.

This was the 2nd time here, the first time the store had about 12 customers inside, 8 of the customers not including us were at the register because their orders were wrong. We still ordered it and wouldn’t you know it they came out wrong… BUT, they were good, customer service was horrible, but everyone has off days. We were told next time we come in they would make it right. So tonight, 6/2/2023 my wife and I just brought our daughter with us who is 8. We informed the young lady at the register(who was super nice) the situation from last time. What happened next will more than likely make it that we will never return, any friends, family, and any of my corporate events, as well as, my kids sports teams events will NEVER come back. The girl that walked up to the register had such a nasty attitude, and continued to cuss out loud while I sat their with 8 year old daughter, and just loud enough to make sure we heard it. Than, after the bad mouthing, and foul language from behind the counter, and rude looks we finally got our 3 shaved ice. I guess shaved ice that you spend $25 plus tip on, 3 of them are supposed to be just white ice in the middle of them, with chunks of whole ice and syrup anywhere but the outside of the drink. When came in to complain, the young lady in the section by drive thru said “great them again” like I couldn’t hear her. I believe in supporting small business, and throwing huge events. Especially at such a great place like Bucks… Although this is unprofessional, and immature as they get, and unfortunately will need a huge makeover in customer service, and how to actually make flavored shaved ice, and not just plain ice with chunks in it. I’m disappointed, and disgusted at the actions, especially in front of my young, impressionable daughter. It is unprofessional, and unacceptable. Read moreI recently visited Bahama Buck's and, as always, had a delightful experience. The dedication of the employees at this place is truly commendable. From our first visit to our most recent one, the level of customer service has remained consistently high, making every trip enjoyable.
On our last visit, we were particularly excited about the Sonic promotion, as my daughter is trying to collect all the character spoons. Unfortunately, they had run out of the character spoons we were hoping to get. This has been a bit of a challenge since you never know which spoon you will receive or if they will be available at all. Despite this minor disappointment, the overall experience was still fantastic.
The staff at Bahama Buck's handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Even though they were understaffed, they managed to serve us quickly and with a smile. Their commitment to providing excellent service, even under pressure, did not go unnoticed. The team remained friendly and attentive, ensuring that our orders were perfect and that we enjoyed our visit.
Bahama Buck's continues to be one of our favorite spots because of the wonderful atmosphere and the outstanding customer service. While it would be great to see more availability of the promotional items, it's the employees' dedication and positive attitude that keep us coming back.
