At 8:48 PM this evening Arizona time I proceeded to place an order for the amount of $39.96. During the order I attempted to order two apple pies… To which I was told that they had no apple pies and I would need to do strawberry cream pies because they had those available. So I switched my order. I then proceed through the drive-through to be told that I need to go wait in spot one… I generally have no issues waiting in a spot as I know when I ordered a fish fillet, but that takes time. However, this location I wait in a spot 85% of the time I ever order from it
Fast forward to my wait in my space. The lot attendant who delivers food approaches the driver’s truck and asked if I ordered pies. I think to myself he should know I ordered pies because I was in space number one and was told the parking space number one therefore he knows The person in space number one ordered pies. He then proceeds to tell me that the restaurant has no pies at all. He asked if I would like something else. I politely told him no I would like a refund and I would like your manager to bring my money out to me. He said you’ll probably have to come in. I told him that I would not be coming in And that the manager could bring me my $2.50 for my pies. A minute passes by the lot attendant comes back out and informs me that I would need to go back in to get my refund.
So let’s talk about the receipt where it says at the top “thank you valued customer.” My time is money and I have never felt valued at this establishment. Tonight was no exception! The staff at this location, wasted my time offered me something I couldn’t have and then failed to make it right under any circumstance.
So I walk in after the lot attendant tells me that I must go in to get my $2.50 refund for my two pies to which the restaurant does not have ready. At this point in time I met by a what appears to be hourly supervisor not even the manager! This hourly supervisor attempted to refund my pies. I said unacceptable. I’m going to refund my entire order for my waitt and my inconvenience! Only then did she actually go and get the official manager on shift to come and process a full refund. At no point in time did this Manager even attempt to make the situation right. I even told her you are losing this entire order over $2.50. So much for Customer Service.
The kicker of this entire story is as she’s attempting to process the refund. She had to ask me what my total was to process the refund to which I didn’t receive a receipt… And she had no clue what the order was. So as I look at my refund receipt, I now see 4 additional cups of sauce, added to it to make sure my total was correct. Of which on the original order I never ordered extra sauces for the additional $.40 charge to take it to the $39.96. So it appears that not only is this establishment horrible customer service they’re also doing additional charges to up ticket sales when not authorized to do so. I know that this policy and procedure for any establishment is not only unethical but unacceptable by state law And needs to be dealt with on multiple level levels.
Tonight was 100% unacceptable in so many avenues… The epitome of customer service for $2.50 was not observed this evening. Me refunding my entire order cost this store more in food waste than it would’ve to literally walk out my $2.50 and refund the pies. All why you inconvenienced me and...
Read moreThis is probably the WORST McDonald's I've ever been to. 1st of all, most all McDonald's that I've been to when you order a meal combo and select the large size, you get a large fry and a large drink. This would only give me a medium drink with my large upgrade. When I asked they said that I could have a large drink for an additional charge. I know, not a big deal right? But when you are charged $7.50 for a Quarter Pounder Large meal I think you'd be expecting large sides to accompany the meal. 2nd, every other McDonald's I've been to a 10 piece Chicken McNugget's usually are $1.50 to $2.00 and are on the value menu. This place charges almost $5.00 for a 10 piece. The McDonald's down the street from us charge that for a 20 piece. #rd and lastly, my bad on this one is that they were waiting on fries to finish cooking , so they asked me to pull ahead to the front of the building to wait. Finally the young clerk comes out the side and looks around and can't find me so I rolled down my window and waved and whistled to get her attention and she came over and instructed me the fine arts of their walking to the car service policy. I told her I was instructed to pull to the front and confirmed with her that this was the front in to which she agreed. But then basically called me a liar that no one would tell me to do what I did. WOW, really, I've had customer service jobs most of my life and never ever would I have said that to any customer. I also asked her if my order was correct and she said yes, that is my bad for not checking it, as when I got to my destination they had left out a burger I had ordered and paid for. So not only was this a bad experience, but I got taken for $3.00 to boot. I would give this place NO stars but it won't let you post if you don't select a...
Read moreThis location has lots of potential, but needs some Training. I ordered a Medium Big Mac Value Meal from the Self Servvice Kiosk for Dine In., The kiosk was very easy and efficient, but was out of receipt paper. Thisd location uses nubered tabke tents, and brings your order to your table. When my food arrived, it came without my drink. I chose to get the drink from the Counter. When I went to dispense my drink, I noticed that the ketchup dispenser was not working, I also notiiced that there were no bins of ketchup either. I had to wait at the counter to get my ketchup. The issue was both the Manager and Counter Person had there backs to any Lobby Customers. It took them awhile to notice me. My French Fries were on the cold side, but my Big Mac was made perfectly! The Lobby was not very busy, but it needed some cleaning. There were noticable dirty tables and a trash receptacle that was overflowing with trash on top. The Counter person was observed removing the trash from the top of the receptacle, but ignored the actual receptacle. The Manager need to train his Counter Person on keeping busy and looking out for the Lobby. The lobby is the first impression a customer sees when Dining in. The Manager also needs to enforce the wearing of hats or hairnets while in ther Grill area. There was a gentleman observed not wearing a hat and placing meat on Sandwiches. This is the most noticable person in the Grill Area. Note for Owner: There needs to be a small Step Ladder accessible for the Shake/Ice Cream Machine. The Manager had to pull a chair from the Lobby, which is not safe for the employees. I highly recommend this location to anyone using Drive Thru or Delivery Options. For Dine In, I would recommend the other...
