Heads up. If you're pressed for time you may want to choose another place. The food was ok. Nice and hot temperature wise. A bit too crunchy for my liking today. If it weren't for the fact I usually enjoy any chicken I'd probably had rated here a 1 ⭐.
Had to wait in line for 15 minutes for my drive up order. Saw at least 3 different customers walk in and out with their orders while I was still waiting in drive thru line. Pulled out of line went in to get my order. Told the guy I was in a hurry so I needed my order. He asked me what I had. I told him and he asked if I wanted anything else. I told him a complimentary biscuit, drink or additional piece of chicken would be nice since I'd spent half my 30 min break in line waiting. He turned away, without uttering anything, to get my order. He turned around & got my order. Didn't give me a receipt and didn't bother to respond or give me anything complimentary for my wasted time. Not to mention it was cold and rainy weather wise.
He really showed he appreciated my business (sarcasm). I probably wouldn't have been as disappointed if he would have at least apologized for my wait or anything to acknowledge my horrible wait/experience. I understand times are challenging. So giving away profits may be a concern. But an acknowledgement & thanks for your business doesn't cost anything. However good customer service is free &...
Read moreOrdered through Google to get a drive thru pick up in preparation for a long drive. When I arrived at the drive thru the person on the intercom informed me to wait. While waiting I wasn't spoken to or asked anything just told to wait. When they finally returned they refused to serve me via the drive thru because it would be "easier" I informed them that before my long drive this would be a great inconvenience to which they responded with yeah well come inside. They refused to give me my order through the drive thru and the order wasn't even ready when I arrived and I am had already waited long enough. Once inside where it was terribly cold I watched the staff prepare my meal and pass it over the counter just as they could have in the drive thru window. They were rude and inconsiderate and unaccommodating without cause. I wish I hadn't ordered online because I had already paid. I wish I hadn't given one but of my hard earnings to this establishment that treats their customers like this. Will not be returning and sad that I had to take this food due to the online order already being paid. At these temperatures if somebody orders ahead online they should be able to pick up their food and it be ready from the comfort of their heated vehicle. Especially since you punish customers for ordering online with a .70¢ charge for...

I just wanted some okra and one biscuit. This was my second Church's today. The first one had no change. When I put in my order I politely asked if they could make my okra fresh. I said it twice. I ordered a small okra and one biscuit. My order was $5.38. I gave her a $10 bill. She did explain that they did not have much change, that she would give me what they had. She gave me $4.20, $0.42 less of what I should have received. The problem that I have with this is why should the customers take the lost because YOU don’t have the proper change? If I were $0.42 short I could not get what I ordered. Offer another biscuit or a larger size okra, but to not give me something for MY $0.42 is crazy or round it up to a $1.00 and you take the lost! To top it off they gave me old okra that was extremely dark in color that was stale. They obviously just dropped it back in the cooking oil. I had to drive around and call them out on this and asked for freshly cooked okra like i did in the first place. This has happened too many times. The okra situation and at seven locations I will NEVER go to Church's Chicken again. I will purchase my okra from the grocery store and cook it in my air fryer going forward! This will be a lot less hassle! They really need to properly train their staff with...
