I am thrilled to share an incredibly positive experience we recently had at Two Birds Taphouse. We hosted our company's annual holiday party (always in January) for a team of 88 at the location and we could not be more pleased with the service provided. From the planning phase right through to the execution, every detail was handled to perfection.
Our event coordinator, Kelsey, deserves special praise. Her professional approach, keen eye for detail and seamless communication made the planning significantly less stressful and ensured the night ran smoothly. Normally I am left with many onsite decisions and issues to rectify during this events and for the first time in 6 years I didn’t have to handle anything.
The food provided was delicious. I worked with Kelsey to curate a variety that fit our group best including chicken wings, hummus and veggies, and those brick oven pizzas that were oh so good. The ongoing rotation of fresh dishes throughout the night kept the buffet appetizing and warm. Each dish was wonderfully presented and equally well-tasted, receiving compliments from many colleagues.
The music playlist had been thoughtfully assembled to cater to various tastes, and the volume was perfectly adjusted to enable comfortable conversations while also providing a lively atmosphere. I gave Kelsey a music genre and she kept the hits coming all night long.
Perhaps the highlight of the evening was the exceptional service from the bartenders and Kelsey’s entire team. They easily managed the crowd with speed, accuracy, and most importantly, friendly smiles. This ensured everyone's drinks were topped up, and both the cheer and energy were kept high throughout the night.
The desserts served were seemingly handcrafted perfection, providing a sweet ending to our delightful meal. The doughnuts holes were still hot.
Lastly, the ambiance of the location coupled with its size and aesthetic were the connecting threads that held the event together. The venue catered perfectly to the size of our party, allowing easy interaction and movement in an atmosphere that was both inviting and fun.
In conclusion, Two Birds Taphouse, surpassed our expectations in hosting our holiday party. They exhibited an unrivaled commitment to service, attentiveness to guest needs and an ability to create a perfect environment for a corporate event. I would highly recommend Two Birds Taphouse to anyone seeking an event space punctuated with grace, efficiency, and noteworthy...

My husband’s food had a live bug crawling on it, which was just gross and unsettling. The lettuce wraps had funky pork and sad, wilted lettuce leaves. The pizzas were undercooked. The only food item that was good was the kettle corn appetizer. The service is also so, so slow. Food and drink orders take a very long time to make it to the table (especially food). At one point, we didn’t see our server for like 30 minutes. All of our entrees came out at different times, with about 15 minutes or so in between. In our party of six, three people had completely finished their entrees before the last one came out. That is just not okay. Someone in my party ordered a beer flight, and the server left without explaining what each one was. Same thing with the cheese board appetizer, so we had no clue which cheese was which. But I think the absolute worst thing about this place (even worse than the bug in the mediocre food) and the reason I would never come back is they blast music over the speakers so loudly that it is impossible to carry on a conversation with someone sitting right next to you. It wasn’t super busy when we arrived (on a weeknight by the way), and during the short wait for the table, we couldn’t hear each other speak without shouting. The guests all have to shout over the music, slowly raising the overall volume as the restaurant fills up. I think it’s one of the loudest establishments I’ve ever been to. I do not recommend this place at all and am honestly surprised by all the good reviews?? There wasn’t really anything good about this place, except the alcohol, if you're lucky enough that it even makes it to the table in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe they had an off night, but I won’t come back...

We drove up from Atlanta because this place was highly recommended by a friend. We first entered on the restaurant side, which was packed, and after a few minutes of confused wandering a staff member told us it was closed but that we could order food from the bar on the other side. Just as we grabbed a table on the bar side, we spotted a cockroach running around on the table next to us, which probably should have been our cue to leave. Instead we waited 10 minutes for a waitress to come over and ask if we wanted any drinks (acknowledging that we were also holding food menus). We ordered a cocktail and a root beer. After another 15 minutes (during which everyone around us got drinks from the bar, creating confusion about whether we should have seated ourselves and why only we had a waitress) she returned to tell us they were out of root beer - something you’d think would take about one minute to ascertain as it was a bottled drink. The other drink was also nowhere in sight. Ok, we said, we really came for the cheese plate so we’ll just do that. Then and only then, after 20-30 minutes trying to get service, do we learn that the kitchen is closed. Not stated anywhere on their website or google profile, but it closes at 10. This was probably 10:15 so if we had been served quickly it wouldn’t have been a problem. In the end we left empty handed and just picked up some cheese at Kroger on the way home, which is the only part of the experience I can recommend. I’m always very hesitant to leave bad reviews but this was really...
