Horrible distasteful and a disgusting way to treat a family on Christmas Day
First the bar was out of essentials for specialty drinks for kids but we were still charged full price for them
My daughters $5 cheese pizza took an hour to come out It came after all appetizers and even entrees too … And even for a holiday this establishment was not packed in the least bit- I’ve held parties at D&B that was way busier We still tipped not only our waiter who provided sub par service but also Levi
The best part of the service was Levi- I had to walk back to his bar area, not only for a to go bag because my waiter didn’t give me one but for a 3rd round of drinks bc the bar by dining was horrible- his drinks tasted well mixed while others treated like syrup. Mind you I had to ask my waiter for to go boxes twice while the staff congregated by host stand and completely ignored customers- cameras will verify…
We noticed cards were taking points but not allowing us to play- we said nothing bc there was not only no staff that greeted us but nobody walking around Then in the mist of trying to cash in our tickets after not complaining to anyone about our service the manager proceeds to tell us that they are closed in the rudest manner that you could possibly say to kids on Christmas. It wasn’t done tactfully but rather the most Grinch way possibe with a chuckle and smile- no empathy interested whatsoever.
Mind you my kids used their gift money to come to D&B by choice AND we came for a birthday celebration and included that in our RESERVATION but that was never acknowledged
We spent about $300-$400
In the end my son was very disappointed and asked to never come back to Marietta location- on his birthday he won about 3000 tickets and couldn’t use them moving forward he asked to only go to McDonough location.
Let’s hope we have a better ...
Read moreI could feel it the moment I stepped inside—the electricity in the air, the promise of an epic day. The place was alive, pulsing with energy, from the flashing game screens to the roaring cheers of someone hitting a jackpot. And today? Today was going to be mine.
I darted toward the arcade section first, my pockets heavy with tokens. Skeeball, air hockey, racing simulators—I was on fire, racking up tickets like a champion. Then came the claw machine. I had never won at these, not once in my life. But something felt different. I lined up the claw, took a deep breath, and pressed the button. Time slowed as the metal fingers lowered, gripped the plush prize… and actually held on. I nearly screamed when it dropped into the prize chute. Victory.
Next stop: the basketball hoops. My hands wrapped around the ball, and I was in the zone. Shot after shot, I was sinking them like I was born to do it. The machine blinked: New High Score. My friends erupted in cheers, high-fiving me like I had just won a championship.
Then came the VR experience—an intense battle against digital enemies. I ducked, dodged, and swung like I was fighting for my life. When I finally pulled off the winning move, the leaderboard flashed my name: Top Player of the Day. The rush was unreal.
The grand finale? The jackpot spin. My tokens were dwindling, but I had just enough left to take one last shot. The wheel spun, the lights blazed, my heart pounded in sync with its rotations. Then—chaos. Alarms sounded. The jackpot flashed in giant, glowing letters. I had done it. Hundreds of tickets spewed out like confetti, and I stood there, arms raised like a legend.
As the night wound down, I cashed in my tickets—arms full of prizes, heart full of adrenaline. This wasn’t just any day at Dave & Buster’s. This was my day.
And man,...
Read more3 of Our friends for their birthday Ones on 2nd 5th and 7th of Dec soo figured would hit them all at once for a get together
Got seated , got drinks and menus semi fast. Placed orders , waited 46 minutes to get food
Burgers and pasta dishes were great 2 peoples Wings were served cold
Complained to manager about wings Waited almost a hour for more wings One order was hot one order was cold
Manager discounted free wings and gave us all free desserts. Which made the night significantly better but was still a very unpleasant experience overall for dinner choice. Also they charged additional for mayonnaise for one of our burgers and the pasta dish it was additional $2 for the garlic toast. I have never heard of a place charging for burger condiments or a pasta dish charging for the bread. We did get almost $80 discounted off the bill by the time they discounted the wing orders and desserts but still will be very hard to get my buisness again for dinner.
The gaming area was perfectly fine and had a good time , I do feel like they have the timers set very short for play time and the payout vs ticket ratio is VERY low. Alot of games the play vs ticket ratio is very low if you think about prizes at all.
Ex: at 9.99 for 1000 Tickets in the store the Xbox X will cost you $1775 , no matter how high you value the average 1-2.5 minute play time that is highway robbery with most of the prizes in the room being thousands/tens of thousands of tickets cost clearly marketing to a children audience.
Smelled like weed ALOT inside and directly at the front door apon entering and leaving.
Overall the staff was nice/pleasant and the area was very clean nothing to complain about there.
The waitress was sweet but only saw her...
