Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Marietta

Just left this place after traveling all day and had this as my first and only meal of the day. The restaurant had a lot of people dinking inside so we stopped. Arrived 15 minutes before closing and asked the cashier if it was still okay to dine in. She said sure. We spent $26 on tacos, a torta, a quesadilla, and a soda. After paying the experience turned sour. The lady cleaning the restaurant closed down the counter bar and the salsa bar once she saw us setting up to eat there and told us the area was closed even though another customer was sitting in the bar area eating also. She wanted us to eat at the tables but we needed more space. She was aggressive and just rude to us and the cashier because we were dinning in here area that she already cleaned. I nicely ensured her that we would clean up after ourselves and that’s exactly what we did. I get you’re ready to go home after a long work day, but to bring out a closed sign once we are already sitting there wasn’t the move and we had no idea the area was closed given someone else was eating there too.

Our food came out quick but after the bad experience with the employee , that took away my appetite. We ate quickly and took the rest to eat at home. We will not patronize this...

Went here with a coworker for lunch was my first time. Wasn't expecting much because like alot of Mexican food spots the food is usually kinda bland portions small overall meh. This place though!! First of all when I walked in I noticed how packed it was, good sign. Then the cleanliness A++ very clean. So my expectations started rising! I ordered the chicken nachos with horchata to drink. Listen I know good food so when I tell you it's excellent I mean that!! Food is delicious like literally when I was eating it I kept saying mmmmm, every bite mmmmmm!! My friend got the fish soooo good crispy on the outside juicy on the inside. Fish beans and rice all, well seasoned. He also got this shrimp ceviche(not sure if it's called that) but it was all delicious!! Everything is fresh vegetables are crisp just so so good. They also give you pickled carrots peppers and onions on the side with every meal. What was left after I finished my nachos I used to scrap up the cheese that was left on the bottom of my to go container. Yes it was that good! Nice portions too I was full after I ate my nachos and pickled veggies. Listen when I tell you don't walk run to don Pedro and get you some food. You will not be disappointed. I plan on trying everything...

Wow, this was a surprise! Don Pedro's is in an old waffle house building. It is nothing to look at from the outside, or the inside for that matter. Lol. I ordered the Burrito Plate, which was choice of meat with rice and beans. The Burrito is coated with cheese on the outside, plus it came with sour cream and pickled vegetables ( jalapeños, onions, and carrots) and the inside had cilantro and onions mixed with the steak I chose. Taste: Outstanding! Portion was great too. Plenty to get filled on here! Ordered from the counter and plate was brought to the table when it was ready. The staff was very nice and friendly. I will definitely have to come back and try something else on...
