I’ve eaten at this location 40 times-I’ve enjoyed it until today when one of the “partners” Barry Lennon approached me to question my disabilities in front of other customers as to go over the rules with me of having a service animal. I did not like how he approached me in front of everyone. I was so embarrassed and felt humiliated, on top of my disabilities that I already have. My service was inside of a dog stroller with the top pulled down, being respectful of others while they eat. I’m suppose to have my service animal walking around but I’m considerate of others. Barry did not try to pull me to the side to talk to me- instead: he was very loud and created a whole scene in front of a very busy Sunday. I needed something to eat so I can take my meds. About 2 weeks ago, I ate at J Christophers in Smyrna: and they told me to take my service animal and sit outside without even asking me if my pet was a service animal or not. The manager apologized and begged for me to please not sue them. She served me the entire time. I couldn’t be no more ashamed and embarrassed then I do today. Being approached twice without saying “good morning “ is my cue to stop eating here. I am an African American female with a disabilities. It’s already hard on me to live through discrimination but having multiple disabilities is just as worse. My pet and I was just recently hit by a fast moving car while we were pedestrians. Today I felt like Barry ran over me again. I felt like he stabbed my heart because after eating here 3 times a week- I developed a bond with other employees. Shout to Barry Lennon for embarrassing me and discriminating against me. This too shall past and I will report...
Read moreI have frequent this and various J Christopher’s for over the past 10 years. I’ve always had exemplary service and great food. The pandemic has everybody short and frustrated but I work in hospitality so there’s no excuse for bad service. Made an order through Uber eats of a coffee and omelette. Order was delayed an hour and a half as well as my coffee was cold and not full. It was a large . I ordered a white chocolate mocha which tasted like hot chocolate. When I contacted the restaurant directly the server who made the coffee answered the phone so she ended up admitting that she probably put too much chocolate and milk not enough coffee so I requested to speak to a manager (ANNA)to see what could be resolved. The manager and I got on the phone I explained that I wasn’t satisfied she as well admitted that it was probably not made well. So when I asked her what we could do to resolve it she said I could come there to get a coffee but I couldn’t so she basically told oh well. I then told her that this was completely unacceptable then she slammed the phone down in my ear. I work at a hotel where this type of behavior is zero tolerance and the employee would’ve been fired on the spot. Furthermore I constantly recommend restaurants in the area to guests. We have crossed this one off the list. This is not appropriate behavior of a manager of a very successful restaurant. Anna needs to get a hold of herself and her attitude. Learn how to treat people better especially in...

The Route 66 is still my favorite with side of Hollandaise sauce.. The chicken quesadilla is still great but looks smaller now. The Veggie platters options is healthy ingredients not organic if you care but it taste great! The regular coffee ☕️ is still regular coffee... no amazing aroma . Just simple dining. I took my husband for the first time and he loved the simple paintings or pictures on the wall, quiet atmosphere and the food.❤️
*I enjoy my Route 66 every time I go. The skillet 🍳 is filled with potatoes dices blanket with corn beef hash then topped off with eggs anyway you like it and side of biscuit or toast.
The price for stack of pancakes are overpriced so I rarely get pancakes. I will eat the Belgian waffle every now and then.
The place is spacious with more booths than any other restaurants I been to. It is simply clean, smells clean, bathrooms is clean and the music is relaxing EVERYTIME I go. No complaint there. That is why I decided to do a review.
Staff are pleasant, attentive and calm even if your taking out. It can get busy around the peak hours on Saturday. Only waited for 40 mins once or twice at Town center and Woodstock location but East Cobb is my favorite spot, its never crowded on the weekend. I hope they never close. I always get in. It is great place to eat breakfast and lunch and by the way they...
