We’re currently at the hospital with my daughter for surgery, ordered food online for delivery on Wednesday 02/07/24 at 7:30 pm. Called afterwards to confirm order and was told the delivery driver wouldn’t be there at the store for pickup until five minutes after closing time. We advised that we would just pick the order up. Was then informed that the store did not have all items on the order so they would need to cancel our order (checking account debited for $105.00). I attempted to call back to find out when our money would go back into our account but couldn’t get anyone to answer. We ordered from another restaurant at this point. 8:12, received notification that order was in route (store closed at 8:00), I contacted Panera corporate customer service and created a case# . Was advised not to accept the order plus I was initially informed by the store that they didn’t have all items to fulfill the order(so is the now supposed to be cancelled order incomplete? I placed my order online so I wouldn't have to wait when I arrived about 30 minutes later. I received an email that said my order was ready and to pick it up from the online order area. When I arrived my order wasn't ready because the Everything Bagels weren't ready and it would be another 15 to minutes. I waited because who doesn't like a good Everything bagel? Long story short, I believe I should receive a phone call or text saying that the bagels weren't ready. Looks like it was squeeze from a container onto the flatbread… I took the pizza back for a refund, and the young man told me they do not take the food back. I took him I need a refund and I place the pizza box on the window counter. The manager came to the window did not even greet me and just stated $11 will be returned to your card, she did not even hand me a receipt or any verification. I did not even have to bite the pizza. I just looked at the sauce dripped my finger in it, and could taste it horrible!
