Run to another dog park or Don't go in the morning before 10am. There is a woman there with 4 big dogs that acts like she owns it. Tells everyone where to go. She always wears a hat & has long dish water blond hair. Her 2 followers have shoulder length hair & wear round Rim glasses. They have their dogs off leash in the parking lot. She puts her big dogs in the small dog area. She is the bully of this park. One if her dogs is a big German Shepard named Sam. The solid black dog attacked my dog. She laughed. When I stood up to protect my dog she verbally attacked me & threatened to call the police. I said go ahead & verbally defended myself. When the cops arrived she told them I hit her. 2 of her little follower lied to the cops as well to try to get me arrested. The cops laughed when they arrived. I had no marks of fighting. Run the other way! Sam's owner runs this dog park. I wonder when her water...
Read moreLewis dog park is a wonderful place in a great neighborhood. They have a big dog play area and a small dog play area. Both are very expansive and unobstructed so the dogs can run and play unimpeded to their hearts content. The only small issue is they need better water stations for the dogs and there is a pretty substantial flea population in the park so I suggest you have a strong flea preventative for your dog and bring some water during the summer months. The park also has a very nice children's play area and very nice tennis courts and a great baseball/softball field. The whole area with the houses ringing the park is very picturesque and delightful. Also check out the little neighborhood library the neighbors have set up under a tree on the corner. It is very cute, but just remember when you take a book to...
Read moreVisited this park recently in the evening. Overall it is a small neighborhood park with a dog park, playground, ball field, restroom and sidewalk/walking trail which covers about a block. The dog park has 2 separate areas one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The large dog area is large - similar in size to a ball field and the small dog area is average size when compared to other dog parks. Both areas have grass and dirt and benches/picnic tables. The grass is more abundant on the small dog side. When we went all dogs large and small were in the same area and after a very brief visit we left. People were friendly and attentive to their dogs but large and small dogs and rough play (rolling the little ones over)...
