Ugh, every single time I go through here something about my order is wrong. Missing items, wrong toppings/condiments, etc. I always have to go through the drive thru again or go inside, then usually the rest of my food is cold by the time they fix their mistakes. The most recent visit was extra annoying. My 2 kids & I got food for ourselves as well as food to drop off to my wife at her office. I ordered it through the app. Of course they made me pull forward to beside the door rather than just give me my food out the window. When they have me do this I know for sure something will be messed up. So I ask the guy at the window if he can make sure the sauces & ketchup are in the bag. But of course when we finally got our food there was no ketchup. Normally I wouldn't worry about since we have ketchup at home but since idk if my wife has any at work, I decide to go in and get some packets. It took forever just for me to get ketchup because a customer that was already inside got like 20 Frostys. So when we get to my wife's office I realize the order is messed up. There were enough things correct that we went ahead & gave my wife her food but now we had to drive all the way back to Wendy's to get our order fixed. We were missing 1 fry, another fry was the wrong size, one of the drinks was wrong, pickles & mustard on the ketchup only burger, missing ranch, etc. Now I know all of our food will be cold before we get this taken care of. I go to the speaker & let them know our order was wrong. He tells me I need to come inside. So I drive around & park & take my 2 kids inside with me, with my receipt (which I had to ask for originally BTW) I let them know & they get, I'm assuming, a lady that's a manager. I mentioned that the rest of our food is going to be cold now, so if they could just remake it that would be great. She starts questioning me about it, questioning the employees about who made what & whatever. Then tells me I need to bring the other food to her (which is ridiculous) so I take my 2 kids back outside get the food bag & take it too her. I didn't see her again after this. They make us get our own drinks, except of course the Dr. Pepper is out when I try to get it, so I have to ask them if they have any back there they can get me. Then finally get everything is done being remade. There was never an apology or anything close to one made, no thank you or have a nice day or any of that. The food was correct this time (which is the bare minimum at this point) but they didn't offer anything else, which I know I'm not entitled to but if I were in their position I would have give some free small Frostys or frosty coupons, or something to try to make things better. Anyway I have a story like this one from every single time we go there. Oh also I think they are canceling orders made on the app sometimes because twice they didn't have my order but my bank account was...
Read moreThis isn't based on 1 bad experience, unfortunately it's based on probably 7+ visits over the last 5 years. Not sure if I've always just drawn the short stick but long wait times 20+mins , and I always had to correct my order. The nail in the coffin was actually a few months back. I downloaded the app to make things easier, I have an hour lunch and my friend has a 30 min lunch. So I decided to order (and pay) ahead of time so I just needed to go inside and pick it up. A Tuesday around lunch time, super busy as to be expected. So I thought ordering ahead would help in that as well. I went in, I saw my name on the screen , showing that it was being made. They looked short staffed so I just stayed to the side and waited, even took another customer their drink when they left it on the counter and the employee couldn't get their attention. My name made it to the "ready " status on the screen so I waited closer to the pick up counter. . Nothing. I figured it was just lagging a little so I was still patient. When my name dissappeard from the screen, I got concerned. Once everyone was through the line I went up and asked the cashier and the mobile order under my name. She just let out a frustrated sigh, shrugged at me AND WALKED AWAY. At this point I was 40 mins into my lunch. I told my friend lunch was a no go. It was a pretty bad day, I just spent 20$ on food I didn't get so I had myself a little mid-day cry and drove back to work. I tried to contact the customer support chat on the Wendy's app, I sent a screen shot of my order, they said they would get it taken care of and send a refund my way. 2 weeks later I heard nothing, I tried to reach out to customer support again, nothing. The chat wouldn't load and I wasn't in a mood to call and be cranky with a service rep that had no part in what happened. At this point, I don't think I'll go back to...
Read moreI have went here a few times in the last few weeks due to working so late and just being far too tired to cook or anything. I'd like to start off by saying that most of my experiences with the service has been good. I did have one lady laugh and poke fun at one specific part of an order I made but I shrugged it off because people are entitled to their opinion.
However, the food has been less than pleasant lately. Tonight's experience has more than proven that point. Upon arrival, I had ordered a salad for myself and a fry. I had also ordered a 10 piece nugget for my son and my partner wanted fries, we obtained our free frostie with the tag. (The frostie was EXCELLENT by the way but I'm biased to anything dreamsicle, lol) The fries were the first unpleasant experience for us, they had definitely been sitting for quite awhile as they were barely warm and they had so much salt on them that it nearly made my partner and myself sick. The worst part though was the salad... I opened it up to find that the crispy onions that came with the salad had been expired for over a month at this point and when I opened the salad, it looked good at first glance until I started to pick through it a bit (I'm weird about the white lettuce), I found that my chicken looked almost like greasy plastic and tasted like it was most likely made far earlier in the day. It was warm but it didn't taste like it was fresh or even recently made, the lettuce on the top looked decent but when I moved it around, the lettuce beneath it was shrivelled and discolored. I'm sad to say that I won't be making a return to this restaurant as the last few experiences were unpleasant and I'm not the only one who seems to have had similar experiences. I don't recommend unless you're coming in FIRST thing in the morning when they first put stuff out (I'm unsure if it's any better but I'm...
