Personally overall they are very nice and super fast service I went in craving fried Chicken and you know I grew up eating fried chicken and I personally felt like not being racist or anything Asians make the best fried chicken in my experience where I live in San Jose or San Francisco they make the best fried chicken and I am black I eat fried chicken I made fried chicken I personally prefer there's over my own mother's LOL sorry just giving you a better image so you understand my review so I ordered fried chicken wings and on my way to grab one I'm looking at these chicken and they're battered in some kind of batter that's impossible to get to the chicken also it's not seasoned so I've never had fried chicken like this I'm very confused I wasted $16 on something I'm not going to eat and I just wanted to write a review on that is not the correct way of making fried chicken I don't understand if they know how to make fried chicken but it should definitely not be a menu item because now I am questionable on going back for the salt and pepper fish because the pictures don't look like how they look online in person the chicken looks totally different it threw me off and now I have no...

I had the worst experience with this restaurant after going there for over 12 years! The new owner does not know what she is doing and is going to lose this business because of her bad attitude. I ordered $50 worth of food and it was completely filled with oil and grease so I called to complain, and She only wanted to give me $19.89 out of the $50 back so instead I asked her to remake the food to try to make the situation right. Right as I picked up the food from the restaurant she told me not to come there anymore and order food, and originally I wasn’t going to go back after that because of the bad experience we had after going there for so many years. It’s such a shame. I work for the hospital so I can most definitely spread the word that this restaurant has extremely bad customer service and the food is sloppy. There’s a much better restaurant in Salinas and Monterey by Alvarado st that serves really good traditional Chinese food. This place is a joke and that owner needs professional training how to better handle customers. Don’t waste your money at...

This place use to be the bomb. When the real Lee's family owned it. Anna the niece was your server and Sunny and the rest of the crew, made you feel welcomed and special everytime you were there. Every plate tasted like home family style dishes of pure delight of great Chinese food. Ever since they sold it the new owners continue to give the Lee's family a bad name. Their food is disappointing in taste, preparation, presentation and service. I did give it a try a few times and I know for sure I will never go there again. Ho Wah has the best salt and pepper chicken wings in Marina if you want to stay In Marina. If you want to stay with Lee's try Chef Lee's in Monterey or Chef Lee's 2 in Salinas now these restaurants are ran by the real Lee's family. You will taste the difference in the first bite of food and atmosphere will feel...

Lee's Garden has been in Marina ever since I was a kid! I hadn't been there in over 20 years but so glad we stopped to eat since I forgot Daddy's was closed on Monday and Tuesdays. They updated their look and you know a Chinese restaurant is good when there's a lot of Chinese patrons eating there! They serve Dim Sum every day. We ordered from their lunch menu. Portions were very nice and egg drop soup was really good. YOU GOTTA TRY THE CHIVE DUMPLINGS!!! That was sooooooo yummy. Service was fast and they were patient with us since we hadn't been there for such a long time. Food was very tasty and not full of salt! Dim Sum dumplings were so tasty I forgot to take full pics of them...sorry! Prices were very reasonable and they put your leftovers away for you so you don't have to worry about making a mess!

Never never never judge a book by its cover. Lee’s Garden Restaurant is the epitome of this coveted advice. On the outside a somewhat run down building that needs a bit of love. On the inside they provide hands down one of the best (American) Chinese meal in the country. I travel the world and I’ve eaten at some of the most renowned restaurants on the face of earth. And nowhere have I had a meal that surprised me the way Lee’s did. It’s simple fare and although my pallet may be different and probably simpler than most, I truly loved the sesame chicken and fried rice I had at Lee’s. Crunchy breading pure white meat(not false claims) actual white meat!!! And perfectly cooked rice. Do yourself a favor and make sure to visit Lee’s. I know I will again.

Planned a family retirement dinner at Lee's Garden on a Saturday. We had the back room reserved for the family and ordered from family style menu on the back of the menu. We were quickly served our tea followed by won ton soup, fried won tons and spring rolls. The main course meals were all good and seasoned just right. Not too much salt. Everything was cooked well and moist. We ended up taking a lot home for later. Staff was quick to bring whatever we needed and checked on use regularly.
