I’m a travel nurse so I stay in hotels a lot on assignments. I’m a diamond member with these hotels and others. Isabella checked me in and was very nice and accommodating. I asked her what’s the manager name she said Allyson. The next morning a lady walked by during breakfast click clacking her shoes not speaking to anyone. I thought it was a guest didn’t know it was Allison until someone said “good morning Allyson”. Management usually speaks and smiles but that’s ok. I asked her about my stay if I could have a daily price past my two weeks already paid. She offered me a weekday and weekend price. I said I’m not used to two different prices. Her words were “well if it doesn’t accommodate you then…” . So basically your telling me I can leave without trying to accommodate or work something out. I asked her to total the weekly price and walked away to get my burning waffle. When I come back she said she was giving me a third price and going up on Saturday after she looked up what I was paying for the two weeks and did her math with the two prices. She didn’t care about me not liking the two prices and added a third. She didn’t bring up when you stay somewhere for 30 days taxes drop. When I brought it up She said the 30 days start after my two weeks end in a condescending demeanor. I’ve never been told if I don’t like it go somewhere else by a hotel general manager. Me having my own LLC would never blow my customers off the way she did. The funny thing is I debated to stay at the Hilton hotel next door because I have a Hilton business credit card and could’ve doubled my points but I was trying to save a couple of dollars big mistake. I would rather pay more and get great customer service than pay less and talked to like your doing me a favor especially...
Read moreOk, I don't usually give two stars but the experience I've had here was poor. I'll start by saying the rooms are clean and decent along with the rest of the hotel. Customer service is lacking. First it starts with room reservations. I'm told one price over the phone only to find out I have to pay a higher price once I check in. I never got my email confirmation that I asked for twice before coming so I didn't have proof of verbal agreement. (Pretty convenient for them.) We show up to check in and there is one person behind the counter on the phone causing us to wait a bit. I also get a call in the room waking me and my wife up from the front desk at 11:10 pm telling me the need more signatures on the receipt. The beds are really uncomfortable. Tossed and turned all night. Place is clean and decent but expect to pay different prices and be prepared for poor customer service.
Update: so after I reviewed this hotel, I went down stairs to get breakfast. I also tried to sign some receipts they wanted me to sign and the girl behind the counter was extremely rude to me and told me she didn't care about calling me in the middle of the night to sign some receipts. I felt like she was my boss and I was in trouble. While she treating me with complete disrespect, she was on the phone with the manager. I asked to speak to the manager and she said no, it's her day off. Apparently this type of behavior is warranted. I would steer clear of this place unless you don't mind being treated...
Read moreWhen you stay in a budget hotel, you know that you're only getting basic accommodation and a clean room. Unfortunately, we didn't even get that on my most recent stay. To start, the bathroom. The shower is leaking, badly, I'm not even talking about drips, it's like a constant slow steam of water, there are mold around the handles. The door doesn't closed completely, because it's croaked, so it can't be locked when someone use it. Next, the room. I was unfortunately enough to step on gum next to the bed. I covered it with a Kleenex, and wrote a note and left it on the floor for the housekeeper, hoping when I return later it would be cleaned up, nope, that didn't happened. There is only one set of heavy curtains, so you can't let light in without the chance of people looking in, especially since our room was on the first floor. Lastly, I knew the walls would be thin, but I can practically hear the conversation next door, I can definitely hear the lady next door laughing like a witch. Throughout the evening, we kept hearing door slams, and we heard when the people above were taking a shower, first, their kids when they kept stomping in the tub, then the adults later. In the morning, there were construction, hammering and sawing. We knew what we were getting into when we decided to stay here, because we have stayed here before with no problems, but we were never in the first floor. Maybe it was just bad luck, but if there's ever a next time, we're requesting NOT to be on the...
