La Cabana Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Marinette

First visit to this restaurant. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Absolutely the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I ordered #13 combination; enchilada, burrito, and chili relleno. The only difference between to enchilada and burrito was the tortilla. The chili relleno was burned black on the underside. Then the entire dish was basted in almost 1/4” of greasy soupy liquid. I ate about 1/3 of the enchilada and burrito and was done. The management was kind enough to take $5 off the bill. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

Feb.17, 2023 This is the last time I come to this restaurant. Good food is always a challenge here, but after last night I’m done. I ordered an enchilada dish with chicken and green sauce. The enchiladas were swimming in water. They were gooey and mushy. I sent them back, no way was I going to eat this sloop. I asked for chicken tacos in its place. Just plan tacos. They too were dripping. The bottom of the shell was soft. Don’t they know how to drain their ingredients?! It’s a shame that Taco Bell has the best Mexican food...

This review is reflected on customer service of the restaurant. Me and my wife had frequented the restaurant often and enjoyed the food very much especially the street tacos . The dine in experience was always good . Fast forward to the pandemic we starting getting food to go ,we live in Oconto so it was a drive but because the food was good it was worth it . One night we ordered I picked up got home and our order was completely wrong ,I immediately called and the staff stated the manager was not in but if I left my number he would make it right the next day , well the day had gone and passed no call back . So I called again and went through the same process and yet again no call back . I called again a week later and still nothing . I will probably never go back even if the food was good because of how this went . I always tipped well even picking up ....

Worst Mexican food we've ever eaten. On top of the 45 minutes it took to get our food, the food was absolutely atrocious. And when we got our chip refill, they didn't even get us new paper on the bottom of the baskets (I know this because we had thrown our napkin rings and straw wrappers in the empty chip basket, and got the trash back underneath our "fresh" chips.) I have no idea why this place is rated so highly. The server was inattentive and my son had to ask another server where ours was because we hadn't seen him since he gave us our drinks.
