Casey's — Restaurant in Marion

4/19/25 12:30 pm. The store is in shambles but no customers. The bathroom is disgusting!!! The girl at the deli would NOT budge on making me a sandwhich!!! She kept trying to get me to buy a cold one off the shelf! Your signs say fresh! I wanted a fresh one!! The guy that was working that looked like he was in a accident tried to help but she was telling him NO and was being overbearing. All I wanted was a couple of fresh toasted sandwiches. She said I can buy one off the shelf and she will warm it in the microwave! WTH??? NO hot food on the shelfs NO Nothing! Then I noticed she was making a pizza with NO gloves!!! I was done!!!! Shame on you Caseys!!! I'm NOT stopping here, I'm contacting whoever needs to take a look at this store! We were traveling and so glad to see a Caseys and we're completely disgusted and disappointed! Well this was unfortunate because Casey's usually is a very clean friendly establishment and with a lot of choices. I got some apple juice and the checker was very kind to me. It was a little older gentleman and we had a good conversation and my sister-in-law went to go place an order for some chicken nuggets for my mother. So she comes back and she's not very happy and I said what's going on? She said I told the young woman that I was ready to order and she's just standing there looking at me. If you are supporting this business then you should know this. They like to change people’s schedules without their consent. They have warned each employee that a doctors note isn’t excused from work (Covid or not). They schedule people breaks and then tell them no you don’t get a break today but you can leave early and then they don’t end up getting to leave any earlier. Also if you have IBS or any other disability they still expect you to come to work as long as you pass a temp check. I honestly could keep going with all of the discrimination and illegal ways they like to run their business. Please do not work for this store specifically or this company at all.
