Long John Silver's | A&W — Restaurant in Marion

My in-laws brought my husband and I lunch from this LJS yesterday. I am usually a really big fan of their food. Not this time! I have never been so disgusted and disappointed by a Long John Silver's meal in my life! My husband got a grilled chicken sandwich that my father-in-law watched come out of the microwave. It was dry and rubbery and hard around the edges. I got the 2 piece fish and chicken with extra hush-puppies instead of fries. The hush-puppies were cold and hard, the chicken was rubbery and soggy and the fish was soggy, and so soaked with grease that it completely fell apart when I tried to pick it up. It was horrible. We contacted the manager, Tom who simply said there was nothing he could do without a receipt. We explained that the food was picked up and brought to us but it didn't matter. Went couple weeks ago through the drive thru. My husband's food was so over cooked it had to be thrown away. Called to talk to Bobbie the manager she gave him the ok to get a replacement meal. Went in 4 days ago and ate in house. He threw away more than half of his meal due to overcooking. My meal also was over cooked. We watched the woman running the cash register get tortured by a young woman who ordered $24 worth of food just to walk away and not pay and cone back and say it needed cancelled. And as we sat there we realised the woman was with a young man who was being interviewed for a job. There were 3 total all leaving with food and drinks they didn't pay for. Bobbie the manager was not on duty. The Pepsi tasted bad and the root beer was warm and flat. Don't think we will be going back...

The good... Bathrooms were clean. Oreo cheesecake was delicious. The bad... We ordered 2 meals and 2 small drinks...$35 (expensive) The tables has crumbs on most of them as well as on the seats. Took about 17 minutes to get our food and we were the only ones inside. The tartar sauce in the dining room was out and the worker behind the counter said it wasn't his job and went to get someone else. We ordered a piece of cheesecake and they forgot to give it to us.
