If there was a way I could leave 0 stars I definitely would. My family and I stopped by Wendy’s on our way home after basketball practice tonight about 6 o’clock. We waited in the drive-through for about 20 minutes when we pull to the window to order my total was about $56 and some change when I got to the window to pay, I had realized I did not order my daughters strawberry lemonade, so I then asked the young girl at the window if there was a way that I could just add a medium strawberry lemonade when she said she wasn’t sure she would ask. She turned around and asked a manager who I could not see at the time, who, then proceeded to scream at her that there was no add-ons in the drive-through, which I could definitely understand if it was a meal however, it was a strawberry lemonade that all you had to do was put ice in a cup and hit a button while I waited on my food, he then yelled at her again, after that time I asked for him to come to the window when he then yelled at me so then I loudly said I’ve been in the drive-through for 15 minutes I don’t understand why you just can’t make a strawberry lemonade. It wouldn’t take any time so then he proceeds to stomp over make the strawberry lemonade, forcefully hand it to the young lady who hands it to me, who then apologizes to me for how he is acting , which I then told her that there was no way that a grown man should speak to a young teenage girl in that manner. He was very out of line and as a mom to a young teenage girl it enraged me. Under no circumstances should a grown man scream at a girl the way he did. There are signs posted all over about how they need people and they’re hiring after my encounter with him I can understand why they’re having issues finding employees. Now that we’re home and eating our food is terrible. The fries taste like they’ve been sitting there since this morning when they started lunch they were cold as ice when I pulled them out of the bag not warm at all and my burger was pink like raw. I’d stay clear of this Wendy’s until the trash takes itself out. It’s a shame the environment these employees have to endure because of how rude and disrespectful he is/was. Read moreBack story: we were a party of two vans, transporting 14 youth and 4 chaperones on our annual ski trip to NC. We'd been snowed in and had to wait out the storm to travel home a day later than expected. The first van chose this Wendys location. I told them up front, at the drive through as the dining room was closed, that we had ten orders and would be paying all together. The immediate reply was that they were short staffed and we'd have to park to wait for our order. I said that was fine. We placed our 10 orders, slowly and verified at the end. We paid over $60, and was told again how short staffed they were and it would take a while, again I said that was fine. A lady, who acted like a manager, brought out our order, and complained again about how many we ordered at once and that we should have ordered online, I explained our situation and she didn't seem to care. We asked for ranch sauce, as it was missing from our order, and she said she'd put in honey mustard and ketchup as requested, and declined to get us anything else, and anymore would cost 15c each. Then, when we checked our order, we found they'd put in bacon fries instead of the bacon burger and fries. I was told that's what I ordered and I said it wasn't, and I was told I ordered incorrectly! I then had to pay for two additional burgers and for a missing fries. The manager acting lady, complained about my ordering and tried to educate me both at the window, which I had to walk back to, and when she brought out the paid for replacements. Read moreWe are quarantining, meaning we CANT go anywhere. So we placed a pick up order with Wendys. Upon arrival we were told we must enter the facility to get our food... We declined to do so as we are QUARANTINING. After having the drive thru attendant argue with us we finally receive our food. Upon getting home we discovered that our order was WRONG. So we call the store.... it rang for twenty minutes, no answer. We drive back to the store, the drive thru is slammed with cars and we do not have the ability to just walk into the store. We tried calling, over and over and no answer. We get back home with our sad, cold, incorrect order and someone finally answers the phone and basically tells us they can't do anything unless we go back to the store for a THIRD time. Awful customer service, long wait times, and absolutely no respect for people or their time. Pick up orders need to have the same amount of importance placed on them as drive thru orders, PERIOD.
