I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gerardo‘s bakery in Marlborough and I must say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was welcomed by the warm, inviting aroma, a freshly bake goods, it’s an experience that instantly brings a smile to your face. The selection of pastries, cakes, and cannolis is nothing short of impressive. Everything is crafted with such care and attention to detail. The chocolate lobster tail was melt in your mouth perfection flaky, buttery, with just the right balance of sweetness. The Apple turnover had a perfect golden crust and a soft and sweet inside that’s hard to beat. You can tell they use only the finest ingredients and it truly shines through in the taste. This customer service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly knowledgeable, and always eager to offer a recommendation or share the story behind their latest favorites. It’s clear that they are passionate about what they do and it made that visit feel special. Whether you’re looking for a pick me up, a treat for an afternoon break, or a celebratory cake for a special occasion, Gerardos is a must visit! I order two cakes from here for my sister birthday. For one of them, I showed them 3 pictures and I told them I am sooo sensitive and want my cake to be exactly like the picture. They chose one, and promised me. The shape was matched but the color…. I couldn’t be more disappointed. And the worse part was they didn’t accept they messed up and they said it’s a reference picture that doesn’t mean we will make the cake like that. Are you kidding me????!!!!! So why I bother to decide it with you guys! And they again said we are not decorating bakery, so why you accept the order?? I could go somewhere else

Was literally just there 15 minutes ago today on 6/17/23, and I specifically asked for the mile high BIRTHDAY cake. I ordered two other cakes, so I didn’t pay attention to what the young lady packed for the mile high cake. I get home expecting the birthday cake with the sprinkles for my sister, and I have the mile high black and white Oreo cake instead. The girl was not even friendly and sighed when doing my order. I don’t know her name, but she should pay attention. My sister hates Oreo cake, which is why I specifically asked for birthday cake. Whoever helped me, I think she had green eyes, but she needs a customer service check. Gerardo’s just went down a few peg in my books. They should hire better staff that actually want to help the customer even after a long day...
