LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Marlborough

OMG This location ROCKS!!! My husband and I usually go to a location closer to use but on our way home from Boston we decided to try this place out and avoid most of the traffic going home.

We were greeted with big smiles and kind voices right off the bat! We requested to not be seated near the bar (because we don't like the distraction or the noise). No resistance or attitude was given. The manager handed us to a host who gave us the perfect spot! A nice quiet solo booth away from everything. We had been having a lot of stress lately so this really made us happy!

Our waiter was Keith. He was such a joy to have taking care of us! He had awesome charisma and was very kind with such a positive attitude. We ended up chatting with him a lot each time he came over to check on us because he was just so pleasant! He was so calming and kept us smiling the entire visit!

The food was cooked to absolute perfection! I said to my husband that the Millbury location could take a lesson from this place! I often have bad luck with food. Keith was patient in the fact that I am a picky eater (and have food sensitivities but I didn't mention that) and just took my order with such patience and it came out exactly perfect! The steak was like cutting butter with great flavor and the lobster had absolutely no shell in the meat, it was cut nice and clean from the shell! Sometimes I've been to locations that mess it up and I get unpleasant bites of shell hitting my teeth. Not this time! Like I said... perfection!

My husband asked to see the manager, I think we forgot to get his name. He came right over and my husband complimented the staff, food, Keith especially, and of course him for doing such an amazing job in managing the place!

Sorry Millbury location but we'll be driving the extra distance from now on to go see Keith and the crew! I mean it when I say this place rocks! My husband and I left so happy with big smiles! That doesn't happen very often. Thank you to everyone working at that Longhorn! Hope to...

Update: May 2025: I'd still say 4/5. The lamb chops were delicious, even my young child enjoyed having some of my lamb chops. But I ordered a fried app onion and no one brought it out! The meals came without the app so I asked the server delivering the food (different person brings out the food) to cancel the app fried onion because I didn't want it if my meals were here now. The app didn't even come out with the meals. The waiter was nice but he might want to check on apps because the bigger the bill the bigger the tip. Dollar store is now gone next door. Replaced by a liquor store. Still in Hannaford plaza, but I hear Hannaford is leaving soon. Older review : Decent local steakhouse. Tucked next to Dollar tree in the Hannaford plaza. Not 5 stars because many times steak will be under or overcooked. Also, if they ask if you want pepper on the steak say no. They had a problem with over peppering steaks because when I complained that I couldn't eat the steak because it was like someone dumped a whole pepper shaker on it, waiter said many have complained about the pepper. Last visit no one asked about pepper so maybe they did away with asking and putting pepper on steaks. Disappointed they got rid of the porterhouse for 2 meal, which was a great deal if you were ok with sharing with the person you were dining with. Being a longhorn customer since the one in Marlboro even open was very disappointed coming back from New Hampshire Marlboro for dinner we ordered two appetizers a chicken dinner and a burger. And took the drink order and the appetizer water. For supper as it was only 3:00 we waited and waited and waited he walked by us five or six times finally got done eating the appetizers and she goes oh I'll take those for you. I asked her about the meal she goes oh I figured you'd wait till you get the appetizers finished then I have it started needless to say we were there almost 2 hours. Lot longer than we planned at the end I put my credit card on the table because I could not find the waitress and actually asked a secondary waitress where my waitress was so I can pay the bill and leave. Finally she came to take out box for half of a burger and half of my girlfriend's chicken to take home because we were too full from the appetizers to eat the whole meal. She was not very pleasant and I was not happy. I don't know we put down long comments but we seem to be a bit long as normally you get an appetizer and before it's gone the bill is there.
