For one, the work enviornment here was EXTREMELY hostile between employees due to lack of maturity and reinforcement by managers. They often allowed several people to be disrespectful to others and not say anything. The managers create competition between employees and there is also HEAVY favoritism in the kitchen. The lack of empathy from managers is also very apparent, especially from RYAN and CORI specifically. Kyle, Brent, and other managers are quite decent, however, and tend to treat all the employees with respect and consideration. Also managers allow employees that are non-binary, trans, or visibly presenting LGBTQ+ (in the stereotypical sense, such as dressing, speaking, etc. I am part of the community and mean absolutely no harm by this) community members to be extremely disrespectful to others without any repercussions. Presumably due to the fact that those employees are favored and considered a minority among the rest of us although they should be treated EQUALLY and held to the the same standards as every one of their coworkers. Not to mention during my time working at this location, many employees were reduced to 5 hours A WEEK or 3 hour shifts, presumably because management was trying to find a way to get rid of people without firing them. Perhaps some things that were done were either company policy or typical corporate occurences but after working my fair share of fast food jobs this is the first time I’ve seen such poor management (to the point where an ex-manager told employees they also do not like the management and we’re planning to leave the job due to this reason). If you’re looking for a job, please ignore the glitz and glamour of this place and just work at a typical run of the mill chain. These people will use you like a mule and give you no respect at all. Shout out to all my fellow former coworkers who endured the mess behind the counter, and thank you to the managers who actually treated the crew like human beings, you are loved and...
Read moreLet's talk about customer service bc there honestly was none... the girls outside were talking in a group the security gaurds were not specific and it wasn't even that busy for us to have to enter from the free way. Instead of the McDonald's lot which is safer. The girl who finally took our order after waiting awkwardly for her to finish a conversation with her Co-worker was the only one who put on a fake smile. Everyone else looked like they didn't want to be there at all...
Now to the food DO NOT get the sweet tea there isn't enough tea taste like lightly sugared water with a tint. And I'm a tea drinker taste like the use 1 tiny tea bag for a gallon of water. My husband and I have mixed reviews about the chicken. I thought the coat of flour was decent he hated that it was falling off. But I was just happy we didn't get a dry batch like the previous comments we have read... I hate that they don't have a wider sauce options. Like really the sauce is ketchup, mayo, and blackpepper maybe something else in there but it's not special...the one thing we both agree on is that the chicken is far from worth the price... The fries are crinkle cut McDonald's fries but some are either really soft or hard like chips only could eat a few... the toast is okay and sadly the best part... That says a lot and by now We've tried it twice bc I didn't want to review a place without giving it the benefit of the doubt. There are too many better food options in the plaza for us to ever...
Read moreI wanted to know if the hype was real, so I decided to try it myself. I work right next to this new location in Marlborough, MA so I went across the street to get some takeout.
When I got inside of the place, the decoration and cleanliness was on point. Even though it is new, it is well kept, the decoration is modern, and everything was well layed out.
As soon as I entered I was greated by a friendly staff member. I proceeded to order The chicken sandwich combo, and the chicken tender combo which came with drinks and fries on the side. I also ordered their famous sauce as a side and ice tea as a drink,
The food was made within 5 minutes, and I was on my way and out the door. Once I opened the box the food came in, everything was well layed out and not sloppy. I then began by trying the chicken tender. Yes, it was crispy, the chicken was moiste, but... It lacked some flavor and seasoning. I dipped it in their famous sauce, and it gave it some flavor, but I was not impressed. I then tried a bite of their fries, which, were kind of droopy and very salty. I sipped up my tea very quick because of that, but it wasn't special eaither.
Lastly I tried their toast and chicken sandwich, and it was okay.
Because of all of the this ladies and gentlemen, I have to say that the hype is not real. It's a well run joint, but lacking in the flavor department. Will I come back here?... Maybe! But... I will probably attend their competitor next door, which is...
