To me the Vin Bin will always be a wine shop first and foremost, as it was when I first entered circa 2004 - presided over by its self effacing owner Rick Lombardi, a wine expert without a whiff of snobbery about him. This impression was cemented the day he was excitedly relating a bargain he'd scored on a high quality wine when I demurred that $15 was my top end. At which he grew even more animated, gushing "You can find so much good wine for $15."

At first glance they seemed friendly and helpful but as time went by and after watching them it was very apparent that they did not want to answer questions, help customers and were silently judging customers. I don’t think I’d ever go back in as the atmosphere completely threw me off. When I asked about a free sample and what I was, I recieved the name and no detail of what it was and ingredients to confirm if I had an allergy. Very...

What's that? You need some cheese to match that wine? Well you've come to the right place. You'll definitely find something that will match or at least something you'll like. On the café side they have soups, salads and sandwiches. Tired of the flavors of the nationwide chain places? Your taste buds will thank you coming in. The sitting area is small, but they do have some outside when the...
