We go here at least once month, since it's opening. My son loves it, goes once maybe two times a week since he is closer. His birthday Christmas new years week we went 4 times.
I have since began earning a bit more $$$, nao not 3 $$$ more like ¢, when I was super poor, we still managed to scrape up enough to visit every 2 months. There are many non expensive items, $5-10, many in the $20 range that are worth it, if you can. Try the soft shell crabs with mango avacado $$$, the hot and spicy noodles with tofu ¢¢, the rice wraps ¢, the coconut soup Tom I always forget the name for, and our favorite, the wild boar basil chicken, we prefer non fried but that's good as well.
Waitstaff is incredible, and very attractive as well. Don't like you wife but like good food? Same for my lady friends! On my son's birthday, I explained to the waitress that, although I had already paid, we'd like a few young green peppercorns to take home. She got, who I presume is a manager, who personally delivered them to our table, took the time to explain where he got them for cheap. No charge. My boy ate them all in our family bed, (cram down, he is 24) a month's worth of expensive peppercorns, sobbing from happiness, while watching a Chaaalie Baaakah Christmas, as is tradition in our home.
Coming back the 14th for my friends "because she is so awesome" suprise party. Can't wait! We are all all chefs, a day off is always appreciated.
Thank you...
Read moreLocated in downtown Marlborough, Thairiffic has changed the Thai food game in our city. I have eaten at Thairiffic a few times now and I'm pleased to say I've not once had a bad meal. The food is always hot and fresh and delicious. My girlfriend loves the Pad Thai and I default to the Southern Noodle and then we split an order of fried rice. I've also had one of the noodle soups and it was fantastic. They have a huge bar you can eat at which is what we usually do and that adds a nice buffer from the dining side chatter. On a nice day, the tall, front windows open up and you get a nice open air atmosphere too.
One small criticism I do have is the menu selection. We've been to Thai restaurants all over this area and usually the menu's have the same dishes, just slightly different names. At Thairiffic, some of these dishes are not on the menu which leaves me a bit disappointed. I'd love to try my old favorites because Thairiffic's food is high quality and I think they could make it right. However it does force me to branch out and try new tasty things. Hopefully, they will expand their menu after they are more established here. Still 5...
Read moreTheir food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful, but every time I've ordered from here for take out, either through the website or door dash, something has gone wrong.
Either they never send the "your food is ready for pickup" message when through DoorDash, or, like tonight, the driver is an hour late and counting delivering our food. Ordered around 4:30, confirmed at 5:15 (they open at 5pm) estimated delivery time was 6-6:10. Currently it's 7:07 and still no sign of the food.
I keep trying, because the food is great, but it's just such a disappointment. This will probably be the last time we order takeout from them :(
UPDATE: at 7:30 we called again to see where our food was, and apparently they delivered to the wrong address. How is that even possible in this day and age? House numbers are clearly marked. It's a single family house... We didn't want to wait another hour for the food, so just had them refund it this time. Wasted night, hope the neighbors enjoyed our meal. Completely inept...
