Came here after a web search, and was thoroughly impressed with the food. The owner does his own cooking, almost always a great sign, because it conveys a passion for creating delicious meals. We ordered house special rice, the Szechuan Chili Bomb (it comes very spicy, and plenty of cilantro), and the Salt and Pepper Calamari. The latter was not on the regular menu, but was listed on the whiteboard at the front, and was a wonderful change from the way calamari is usually prepared (circular pieces), and had a wonderful crunch and flavor (we ordered it extra spicy and were not disappointed). It's a small restaurant; not ideal for a larger group, but quiet and clean, inexpensively priced, with very fresh and meticulously crafted food. Overall an impressive experience, with the added benefit of having leftover food to enjoy later. We will be back soon to try other dishes!

They make the best Chinese food I've had in years!! Their salt and pepper chicken wings and scallion pancakes are an amazing appetizers! I got their off menu option of fish in chili oil and it was done so perfectly! The fish broke apart with the slightest tough. Ive never had pangasius this lovely before! Definitely the best dine in entree they have! Don't get it to go though bc you'll miss out on the perfect texture. It is spicy for Americans so be careful but if you like spice definitely give it a go

I only have good things to say about Silk Road. 1) The owner Tony is the MAN! Nicest owner I've met during covid and more owners should strive to be like him. 2) Not only am I coming back for more but ALL of my coworkers are after recommending this chinese deliciousness to them. 3) Even if it says the restaurant is closed. Give them a ring per owner Tony, if he's there, he'll cook for you! Now THATS SERVICE! 4) if you're still reading this, give them a call immediately. Thank you.

Without question the worst Chinese food I've ever had. We placed a huge order for mother's day and ordered a variety of old stand by dishes, including won ton soup, pu pu plater, beef teriyaki, lo mein, general taos chicken, fried rice and Mongolian beef. The only items that were passable and somewhat normal were the general taos chicken and the white rice.

The won ton soup was horrible, it tasted like they used a chicken bullion base, the dumplings were doughy with hardly any meat. The beef teriyaki had NO teriyaki seasoning, was burnt and salty. The chicken wings were terrible, over battered and dry with no seasoning. The lo mein was horrid, we ordered house lo mein which was supposed to have meat and vegetables in it and it came as just plain spaghetti noodles with no flavor. The house fried rice seemed like white rice with vegetables and meat. It was OK, but wasn't the traditional Chinese fried rice we were expecting.

Overall, extremely disappointing. When we called to voice our grievance, they only offered more of the same bad food we were complaining about! We spent almost $100 in food and ended up throwing...

This was the worst experience I've had. My nieces birthday was today and a group of us went to apex in Marlborough. We heard how good the food was here so we headed over to this restaurant to have birthday dinner. When we walked in the very rude woman stared at us confused . No greeting or anything. We asked for a table and she told us "uuuhhhhh takeout only". She simply didn't want to serve us. There were no customers in there ( I see why) , it wouldn't have been hard to commodore one group of people with an empty restaurant. She profiled us and refused us service. Once we told her how wrong she was all of a sudden she tells us to sit down for table service. Of course we declined. We will not dine where we are profiled and unwanted. It shouldn't take us calling out decimation to be sat. We work hard for our money. Some of us come from the restaurant industry. We enjoy trying restaurants that are new to us as a family and tip 20% everywhere we go. This is unacceptable and I wouldn't recommend spending your hard earned money in a place that won't value you...

Do not go. Food may be good wouldn’t know haven’t tried it. Been waiting for over an hour. My night is wasted after working 12 hour shifts. Lobby is full of people waiting on food. Tried to cancel he said 10 minutes ten minutes ago. Do. Not. Order. Do not do online ordering don’t call. Ordered at 3 pm online to avoid any issues. Waited an hour. Left after everyone else got their orders. 90 dollar order and I feel bad but they called me a full 20 minutes after I left. So thats an hour and twenty minutes for something that was ordered at 3 for pickup at 730. I really wanted to try it and I really wanted it to be good. But this is the second time. New Year’s Eve I ordered the day before and they hadn’t even put it In the computer when I showed up. Don’t lie and say it’s going to be ten minutes when you probably haven’t even started the order. Unreal and sad. Told me I had to go through the app for a refund. I didn’t use an app just...
