Made my first trip here tonight. I found myself intrigued as you could enjoy an espresso from beans roasted on site, or a craft beer.Place was busy but I found a place to sit at the bar. The server Meghan came over and asked if I had been helped, and made sure I knew what this place was about. I enjoyed a flight including a kolsch, witbier, brown ale and a nitro milk stout. The kolsch was crisp and sensible, the witbier was very good but unexpected, as it lacked a heavy orange presence which allowed me to enjoy it even more. The spicy hints were well-balanced ant not overbearing. The brown ale had a dark chocolate color to it and a slight maltiness to it. The coffee milk stout could be enjoyed straight up or with Nitrogen. The coffee presence added a great flavor profile. I highly recommend this if you visit. I finished my evening with a decaf Guatemalan espresso shot. This was a light/medium roast. The creme on this was complex, flavorful and satisfying. The owners were both there and took time to talk about how this place came to be. I will most definitely return. There is currently no food served, but patrons can bring their own or walk to any one of the local restaurants. All within a...

This place has some of the best sours and IPAs I have ever tried. After years of being let down I just roll my eyes at beer that have names that sound too good to be true, but this place actually delivered. Anything that is smoothie style, oat cream, or just sounds interesting you should try. I went through 2 flights and several beer on my first visit, just totally blown away. Limited seating, but everyone is in that boat for the time being due to covid, and sitting outside is kinda nice. Their espresso drinks were also really good, I've had the Howe, Boyd, and Dirty Chai, and all three were very sweet and creamy. I don't normally get waffles, but their waffle was top tier for more, crispy outside, slightly soft inside, with real freshly made whipped cream. Staff was all smiles, and you can do your ordering off your smartphone at their tables using a QR code they have taped to each table so they know where you are. Another bonus about this place was the high level of dog traffic going by on the little street, lots of dog walkers in the area.

If you're in the area for beer and had to see one place, this should be it. If you're looking for coffee, this is probably also...

Nice setting so one star given to that but staff members and service was horrible! If you have a food sensitivity or allergy do not go here!! I asked if there was milk product in the item I was getting and was told no. After drinking some of the drink I had to run to the bathroom and got sick for a long time. When I came out I informed a staff member that I needed bathroom items to clean the bathroom up and I offered to clean it up, which surprised them, but I did it before any other customers came in to the bathroom. The person who gave me the bathroom items asked what they could do and I said a refund at least would be appreciated since I got sick from it and she said ok. Then after I cleaned their bathroom and waited behind a few people in line (so not to publicly announce the situation for their benefit) another staff member yelled over from where she was making a drink instead of walking over to talk to me that I wouldn’t get a refund because I knew there was no milk in it and I decided to still go through with the order. Everyone in the place looked my way. Very uncomfortable. Horrible experience and still...

EDIT: The canned beer I had tasted fresh and my initial reaction was probably too quick. I believe this: Hi Todd! I can certainly assure you this beer was not packaged in 2023. We recycle and reuse paktech carriers, and our team must not have scrubbed off the date code sticker (we don't sticker our paktechs with date codes). The beer you had on draught is the same that is in those cans, packaged on June 14th of this year. I apologize for this confusion! Best Regards, JP, Co-Owner / Head Brewer If I could give it a 2.75 I would and hear me out...My wife and I visited last week and had tasty fresh draft pours. I would rank the draft Maple Street delicious solid 4-4.25...but then I bought some beer to go and they legit sold me a 4 pack that was packed in 9/28/23!!! Didn't even notice/try to look because the draft was so good. SHADY MOVE by a brewery that has good beer but probably doesn't sell enough. Kinda gross they shove almost year old beer on customers when the fresh beer tastes good. Be better, Lost Shoes...went out of our way to try it out...not a nice way to send off customers

Lost Shoe Brewing & Roasting Company is a hidden gem in downtown Marlborough, conveniently located across from the municipal garage with plenty of parking. This charming brewery offers a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a great spot for all ages. The outdoor patio setup is perfect for warmer weather, adding to the inviting ambiance. During our visit, we enjoyed a rotating food truck and live music inside the brewery, which enhanced the experience. The seasonal sangria was fantastic—refreshing and flavorful—while the IPA was a solid, well-crafted brew. The staff was friendly, the environment was lively yet relaxed, and the overall energy was positive and community-oriented. Whether you’re looking for a casual drink, a fun night out, or a family-friendly gathering place, Lost Shoe Brewing delivers. Well worth the trip, and we’ll definitely be back!
