My experience at this place was horrible. So I went to go buy a phone from them because I really needed one. I bought an Iphone 7 and I realized once I got home that the speaker and the mic on the phone were horrible.I spoke to the guy and all he did was talk about software issues or that I shouldn't have updated. I went back to the shop and he traded my phone in for another one. As he was finding a phone to give me, he told me to check it before I go. The first one that he handed me also had the same problem (mic and speaker) which he was also planning on selling. So he gave me another one which worked fine at the moment but it had all these scratches on the back. I used the phone for about a week and then out of no where it stopped wanting to charge. Once it died it did not want to even turn on again. Again I told the owner about it and he blamed it on me saying that it could've been water damage, software issue, or updating. Which makes no sense cause I take care of my phones. Anyways, I went to the shop again but this time I went to Worcester to talk to the owner face to face. I asked him for a refund and I explained my situation. I was angry so I was speaking loudly but throughout all of it he was just laughing. I ended up not getting a refund and losing $450. This is not a way a business should be ran and they should not be selling messed up phones to your valued customers. He also couldn't explain why the other phone that he was going to give me had a problem with mic as well, a phone that he pulled from his case. Said he sent that one back as well, what if that one would've landed in the hands of another customer? He would've lost more money and customer would've...
Read moreBrought in phone that would not charge, Tech changed battery ( that I replaced about 1 year ago) now the screen is garbage on top 1/4 inch. Tech claims there is something wrong with the MB. ( because there was water damage from ~ 3 years ago) Yet when he tried a different screen all was well. I left paying $40 dollars for battery Apple charges $30. And there is still something wrong in that the battery takes a very long time charge and does not hold a charge very long. Pretty disappointed.
In response to your comment about water damage phone: My phone had water damage over 3 years ago and has been in constant use since then with no issues, until two days ago when it would not charge. I am disappointed because the screen has garbage that was not present before the repair, You can attribute that to previous water damage If you want. But I had the phone repaired elsewhere today and the screen now works fine. I understand you can not warranty parts you do not replace but the screen was not replaced during your service. In fact the tech tired another screen while I was there and it worked.
I agree apple would not change the battery because of the indication of water, however my point is that you charge more that apple for the same service and you use less expensive aftermarket parts not APPLE...
Read moreGreat people but bad service, went there for a screen replacement, they replaced my screen (70$), just for a screen and swapping everything, but couldn’t fix my Touch ID, they tried to fix it, but wasn’t able, told them to put my old screen and everything back, went to apple, they replaced the screen for a bit more(170$) than what tech cell was charging me, but apple change every thing( screen, camera, speaker, home bottom)a month later went back to apple for a warranty of 90 days that my ear speaker was not working, they ran a test and ended up being a logic board aka motherboard, end of story, had to buy a new phone all because Techcell messed up trying to install an internal Bluetooth type home bottom, (going cheap, ends up being expensive), never again...
