Paco's Tacos of Ogden — Restaurant in Marriott-Slaterville

Update 5/21/19 Like a junky who can never get enough, I can't quit you Pacos! The food has stayed excellent and the customer service has gotten WAY better. The last 4-5 times we've gone it's been great and the service has been attentive. Much quicker turn times and even when it's busy they still crank it out. The person they had working before when the service was rough is no longer there so it looks like the problem sorted itself out. See you again Friday night for my cheat meal fix!

Update 5/6/18 Food is always on point, however customer service is regularly off and the hours are just bizarre. Regularly have to triple explain that "2 sides of rice and 2 sides of beans" means that I want 2 separate containers of rice and 2 separate containers of beans, not 2 containers of rice and beans...and I waited 20 minutes for it.

Hours: You close at 5pm on a Saturday? Why are you even open after the lunch rush then? What are net sales from 2-5pm? It was Cinco De Mayo, when every white person in Utah was probably going to celebrate this made up holiday with awesome food, and you closed at 2pm? When I came in at noon for burritos, you were nearly out of everything and charged full price for much smaller burritos. How do you let this happen? I would have had this date circled on the calendar back in December!

I keep coming back because the food is amazing, but seriously, let's iron out some of the service and business practices. We can do much better at service! Love you guys.

Moved to Utah from CA and was devastated when I tried some of the local "Mexican" food, I couldn't believe how bland and sweet everything was. I rejoiced when I found Paco's! It's just like what you get at an authentic taqueria or truck. So happy to have Paco's, I stop by every Friday after work for my Locos...

Giving 2 stars because the food is good. Service on the other hand, not so good. My orders are always messed up. Today for example, I ordered 4 mini carne asada tacos and a small coke. The lady hurried and takes my money and hands me a bag telling me to have a nice day. I tried to get her attention quickly as she forgot my drink. She finally comes back To the window and I let her know I didn’t get my coke. She gets me a coke and I assume all is good. I get to work and open my food and instead of 4 carne asada tacos, I got 4 rolled chicken tacos with beans and rice. Not at all what I ordered or wanted. I’m at work until 10 now and can’t go back to have my order fixed. This is annoying, constantly getting incorrect orders.. the good food won’t be enough to keep me as a customer if they can’t get...

I asked someone about Paco's tacos, and if it was any good. She told me the the chili verde burrito is her favorite thing there. I gave it a go, as I've been trying to find a good local Mexican place for a while now. The chili verde burrito, holy cow is it gigantic and delicious! I absolutely recommend it. Out of curiosity, I got a few mini tacos not knowing what to expect. They are basically street tacos and are F'n amazing. I can easily make a meal of just the mini tacos. In Summary, Paco's tacos is amazing authentic mexican food if you're craving tacos or burritos. Up until now, I thought betos was best, but I have a new favorite and can't wait to try more of the menu.
