I simply asked them to grill the Chipotle Chicken Griller (I mean grill is literally in the name) and they refused, claiming It'd be too messy as the ends of the small tortilla weren't sealed...totally makes sense but EVERY other Taco Bell doesn't have an issue grilling it. The first time I ordered it, I was already at the window and paid before they told me they wouldn't grill it. I took it anyways and found they use their Shredded Chicken instead of the Sliced Chicken they use at every other location that also grills them.... Maybe that's their reason for refusing. Squishing the Shredded Chicken witg the sauce would be a bit messy I guess... only this Taco Bell though..
I also have coupons for a Taco of My Choosing...I can really only deduce one conclusion for what this coupon gets me. A Taco of My Choosing. One would think, yes it seems obvious. I've had employees suggest their favorite combination in a Taco and encourage creativity! There's no restrictions to what kind of taco I can get with it written on the coupon, even the fine print. I've read it many times. I only get ONE per visit. That's fine. This particular Taco Bell refused to give me my free Taco exactly the way I "Chose". Their reasoning...because the picture on the coupon is a Regular Crunchy Beef Taco so that's all I'm allowed. Again, the only Taco Bell (there was actually one other location on Monument near Oak Grove that said No too) that refused to make it Supreme, soft shell, Sub Black Beans, whatever I "chose", they said No. That didn't make me happy at all. It's false advertisement to put implied restrictions in a Taco based off a photo of a Taco.
I won't be attempting for a third time to get my grilled snacks or Unique Taco.. They do get some props from me though. They're food is always hot and fresh! So refreshing to have made to order, hot food I literally have to wait before I can eat or I'll burn myself...on the crunchy Taco with cold Lettuce & cold Cheese..I'd still burn myself. So...
Read moreThe 3 stars is for the super nice lady who took care of everyone at the counter, many of whom ordered ahead and still had to wait 20 mins as drive thru was served sooner.
I was a "walk-in" and I was super disappointed with the food quality. Paid $12 for a crunch wrap supreme combo, which is supposed to be the "deluxe" version.
Everything was cold, as though it had been made a while ago and someone forgot to give me my order.
The “Super” crunch wrap is supposed to be full of “meat,” cheese, lettuce, and tomato. There was so little inside it was flat as a pancake. I opened it up to add hot sauce and it was like someone forgot to add the fillings or it had been tossed to the side as a remake. The tablespoon of "meat" resembled a disgusting liquid that had already been digested. There were about 12 strands of shredded lettuce and an equal amount of cheese and tomatoes.
The package came with 2 crispy tacos. The shells were broken before I opened them and they were also cold. Asked for Diablo sauce and was handed 20 packets of mild instead.
The bathroom was also inaccessible. It has a push button combo access so I asked for the code and was told “someone took the key.” Not likely…
Every one in the lobby had a problem with their order and had to stand at the counter waiting to get items that were missing our should have been in the bag already; sauce, napkins, straws, and actual food items.
I’ve been to other locations, didn't have any of these problems, and the food was fresh, the fillings were actually…present, plentiful, and delicious.
What I got wasn’t even worth...

I am sad to say this is not the best Taco Bell experience I've had. We have been here multiple times. The food is fine. It's standard Taco Bell fare and usually served fresh and hot. The problem, however, is the service. I understand that they are short staffed and have been for quite some time. However, in the drive thru, be prepared to wait between 10 and 30 minutes. With two cars in front of us, we waited over 25 minutes and there were probably 6 or 7 cars behind us. I am guessing probably some of them gave up and left. At that pace, it would take over an hour for the last car in line to get their food. It consistently takes a long time (~10-15 mins) in the drive thru at this Taco Bell, but that's excessive. Customer service is hit and miss, depending on who you talk to. We have had very friendly staff members and also staff members that were not so friendly. Not rude by any means, but definitely if you have people waiting for about a half hour for their food, it would be better customer service to acknowledge the wait and say "Thank you for your patience/waiting" or something like that. No apology necessary, but thanking us for waiting would have made us feel acknowledged and heard. They do also often miss items or get an order wrong. It happens. Plus it's Taco Bell so it all kind of tastes the...
