Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Maryland

As others have mentioned, the customer service is pretty poor. The lady attending me was overall just super unhelpful and kinda rude. I had come here around 3:30 PM and tried to order 2 cups of their original pretzel nuggets. Even though I had seen there was only one cup of the nuggets that were premade and set on display, I figured I'd just have to wait a bit for their next batch and they'd at least tell me if/when the next batch would be available. When I told the lady my order, she just began preparing my food and ringing up my order (mind you, she didn't say anything after I had placed my order). Then she only gave me one cup of pretzel nuggets, and I noticed that she only rang me up for 1 cup instead of 2. When I repeated my order to her and told her I had asked for 2, she just said, "we only have one 🤷‍♀️." Why wouldn't you tell me that beforehand? She had said absolutely nothing about that before prepping my order and ringing me up until I asked afterward. Also, I had watched her preparing another batch of pretzel nuggets, so they clearly weren't completely out of the product. I just ended up paying for the 1 pretzel nuggets and left because it wasn't worth arguing over. It just seemed like they wanted to simply get rid of me ASAP because I don't see why you wouldn't at least inform me that you couldn't properly fulfill my order OR why I couldn't just wait for the next batch. I was fully willing to wait for another batch to finish or just order something else instead. I don't understand why she said absolutely nothing and didn't even allow me the chance to order something else before she started wrongfully preparing my order. Went there with my 5yr old daughter around 8:30pm knowing they were closing in 30 mins but also hoping I could get some kind of pretzel (didn’t matter what kind). Turns out once I’m there, there’s nothing on display and it looked like they were cleaning up. One rude girl didn’t even acknowledge me while standing there, the other one said “we are closed”. I’m thinking there’s still 30 minutes left though?? I took my babygirl to Krispy Kreme instead. Don’t see myself coming to this place again. I ordered a pretzel that appeared fresh and hot, until i bit it to it. It was hard as a rock i couldn't even chew it. They definitely redipped an old pretzel in butter to make it look fresh. It was so hard, i took it back and the young lady did her best to try to ignore me, until i raised my voice. She did give me another pretzel which as delicious, but she picked it up with her hand instead of using tonges, which was very unsanitary. I rated them a 2 because the 2nd pretzel was fresh.
