Bill's Seafood — Restaurant in Maryland

Ordered 1.5 lbs of steamed snow crab legs. I thought it felt a little bit light. Got it home and opened the box. It was 2 medium sized clusters. Out of curiosity I put it on a scale. 13oz. When I brought it back they first sad "No problem we will fix it". Then afer a few minutes I was told I would be charged for the difference because in some obscure place it was written that weight was based on frozen weight. Bascly you pay $28 for 3/4 pound of crab and 3/4 pound of water. Cheaper to go to a nice restaurant. Not to mention that I called ahead and then was made to wait 20 minutes because calling 1 hour before was not enough time to start my order. On the plus side...

Total let down for a long time great. Got a dozen twice cooked twice spiced salty dry expensive bad crabs. We have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and recommended to others the great quality, value and service Bill's USED to provide. Just bought an expensive pound of gritty jumbo lump today. I get COVID 19 is not helping but I hope Bill's can get back to it's great self once again.

Gave them another shot w steamed crabs n did not disappoint! Crabs were amazing on Mother's Day weekend!! Also got Venezuela fresh jumbo lump for my mom-n-law in Myrtle Beach n was very good not being Maryland jumbo lump. I'm back to...

Haven't had Bills in years, use to frequent often. It was my sons birthday so I figured seafood platters all around for dinner would be a welcomed treat. Not the case at all. What should have been the highlights of the platters were the worst things by far. The scallops were greasy and mushy. The crab cakes were lacking crab, mainly filler and also mushy. The shrimp were bland but ok, The fish was the best part, even the sides were garbage. Soggy limp fries, beige odd mac salad, under cooked hush puppies and so on.
