One of my tomatoes was left off my Double Whopper, which was supposed to come with two. I'm thinking that it comes with one since only one was on there. I go back to the counter to buy more tomatoes and standing with a dollar in my hand to pay, the manager Maria tells me that it's sixty cents and I was like okayyyy put it on there but she never moved, like I wasn't going to pay for it or had a problem with it. Then the cashier didn't ring up my extra tomatoes. I told her that I wanted it to be rang up and she tells me that she can't because I'm not buy anything. There's a button on the POS for everything in that restaurant. She lied in my face. After I finished my food, I saw that two tomatoes came on it. I let the cashier know what happened. She says that I have to wait for the manager but never tells her(manager) that I'm waiting with an problem. I called the manager Maria after 5 minutes of waiting, and she ignored me. I call again, and she says that she's busy. And I'm like I been here standing for 13 minutes to talk to you. Then she tells me she doesn't know what to tell me because it's supposed to come with two tomatoes. I said your worker only put one tomato and she would not rectify the situation. I had to say a real manager would've apologized and gave me 30 cents back, and then she gave me back 30 cents. Why did I have to tell her how to right that wrong? It was nothing more than my race that I received that treatment. If I were Hispanic, it would've played out totally different. But since I'm African American, she made it seem like I stole a tomato that I paid for. That her worker left off... She Has Heavy Spanish accent which makes it hard to undrstsnd her- -esp when asking her questions a/b my coupons... -a/b substitions?... -a/b How I wanted BK to cook my cheeseburgers... -& how Id wait for fresh batches of fries & mozzarella sticks...

Read moreEvery time I visit this location in the past few years it's been a lackluster at best experience. I used to go more but then they stopped honoring certain coupons and the service, especially as a Black man, left lots to be desired. Today, for example, I ordered in the app and it said I should be there in 20 minutes. I got there maybe 5 minutes late and STILL ended up waiting at least 10-15 minutes. No one attempted to acknowledge me standing there waiting for several minutes as a new customer who walked in. I had to go to the regular counter and mention I was waiting and yet it still took several more minutes. It seems they may have either given my food away or never completed the order because the drink was already waiting and watery by the time they handed it to me. The staff always seems to have an attitude with me. I only visit this location because it's close to my house and only when I'm REALLY craving Burger King.
Even though they deal with a typically older crowd who may have more needs and require more patience, that's no excuse for consistently bad attitudes and talking negatively about someone in Spanish because they don't think you'll understand (happened the...
