Ledo Pizza Leisure World, MD — Restaurant in Maryland

Just left very disappointment and appalled. It was the first and LAST time we visit this location. It's definitely not friendly nor family oriented. I placed an order online for pickup. It was $79 worth of Ledo food and gave $12 tip. Our plan was to pick it up and take it home but my girls and I were out all morning running errands in this hot summer day and we were starving. My little one was starving and asked to eat there. I saw no problem so we sat down to have a bite. We werent going to eat everything we ordered just a couple of slices. The store manager walked over to us and told me next time to not eat inside when we have carryout that I am taking from their waitress' tip. I said I understood but my daughter was starving and plus I did tip when I placed the order. Mind you there were only 3 people eating so it was EMPTY and saw no waitress. So when I said I tipped she said oh the online tip goes only to the kitchen not the waitress. She, the manager, kept pushing back and insisting I don't eat there when I order online. So my question is - do they make you tip the waitress and the kitchen when you order to dine in? This is Leisure World, I hope they treat our elderly better. Btw when you tip online this is the message the customer sees: Tip – 100% goes to the restaurant staff

Ps. After reading other reviews it sounds like they ordered to go but decided to eat there and there was no problem they were even given plates and napkins. Makes me wonder was it something about us that we didnt deserved to be...

Where do I start.. This past Sunday my family (there are 13 of us) and I decided to try ordering from here. We ordered 6 pizzas and 4 salads. When we called we were told 20 minutes (which absolutely shocked me). When we arrived, there were already several customers waiting there for their food before us. When we got there we were told it'd be a bit more of a wait (seems to be a trend with this place based on other reviews...). When we paid our bill, both (obviously very young and naive) girls behind the counter openly laughed and mocked the tip my mother left. Extremely inappropriate. Then when another customer asked about their food, one of the girls, very loudly, remarked that it wasn't their fault the food wasn't done but, "there is an order of 6 pizzas and their holding every up." sorry our big order and good business was such a hassle. To top it all off, one gentleman, who was there before us, was profusely apologized to because of the wait (due to our pizzas) and REFUNDED FOR HIS FOOD. are you kidding me? Why wasnt his food put in before ours? And why weren't we refunded? Because it was "our fault"? The two girls behind the counter were so unbelievably rude and made it so uncomfortable. Better customer service is DEFINITELY needed. Olney isn't too far of a drive and they're way nicer--I'd rather take my business there than be...

I love Ledo pizza. Been eating this pizza for years; however, this location does a horrible job making pizza. When I went to pick up my pizza it was handed to me, I'm accustomed to them opening the box and showing me the final product; I then opened the box to find my pizza covered in an inch of grease. I told them this wasn't unacceptable. The cashier took my pizza to the back for the guy to state, it's because of your toppings. I explained I've been eating this same toppings on my Ledo pizza (extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage and black olives) for more than 20 year's. I've never had a Ledos pizza that looked like they made it in the deep fryer. They agreed to remake my pizza. When I picked the second pizza up, it didn't have the extra cheese on it and looked beat down! Ugh! Worst Ledos location! Won't ever go back to...
