Update 10/18/2022: Adjusted to 5 stars. Having visited multiple times a week for the past 2 years, I can't remember the last time there was a major delay or an incorrect order. This is one of my favorite fast food restaurants now!
Update 11/23/2020: I have adjusted my rating from 1 to 4 stars as they have turned the corner and improved service greatly. Service has been consistently faster and more accurate over the past 3 months. It seems they changed out a lot of the employees and I now prefer coming to this BK over driving to the one on rt. 40. I left my original review to highlight just how much they have improved. For perspective, I have visited this BK about 3 times a week for the past month and it has been a pleasant experience with no issues.
Original review: Having been to this Burger King 20+ times since they opened a few months ago, I have been regularly disappointed. I keep going back hoping to find they have improved; but, they have not. I have tried the lunch rush, dinner rush, off hours and even weekends. The biggest consistent complaint has been the extremely slow service speed. The majority of the time, the drive through takes 5 to 15 minutes, even when there is only one car in line; heaven help you if the line is full and goes back to the second menu board! I have received the wrong food more often than the right food and the wrong change on a few occasions. My experience today was a typical example and I decided to document it below.
First, there was only one car in line, paying at the window when I pulled up to the menu board. I paid and sat behind the only car for 5 minutes. I saw no discussion with the car ahead, no obvious errors or disagreements, they were just slow to bring out the food. When I got to the window, I could see at least 6 people working; so, they didn’t seem understaffed. Once again, this seems to be normal, based on my visits so far.
Second, the order appeared to be correct in the bag before I left, only to find out when I got home that my two double Whoppers both had single patties. See attached picture. To their credit the condiments were right this time. I included the receipt to show it was not a miscommunication; I was charged for the double Whoppers but only got singles.
On a different visit, a few weeks ago, all I ordered was a medium French Fry and it took nearly 15 minutes from the back menu board to the last window. The longest I’ve waited was about 25 minutes from right behind the menu board to getting food. For perspective, most sit-down restaurants have better wait times and higher volume of cook to order preparation happening in the back.
I really like Burger King food and truly wish this location had better service! When the order is right, the food is often pretty good; it is just not worth sitting in line for it most days. Especially, when the Chik-fil-a that is right down the road can process 20 cars with nearly 100% accuracy in the same time as this BK can process 3 cars with consistent errors, I cannot in good conscious give this BK any score higher than a 1.
If they ever become consistently better, I will adjust my review accordingly. Until then, make sure you bring your patience, have plenty of extra time, and double check your order and change, if you visit this BK location. The reason I keep giving them another chance is they are relatively new and it takes less time, even with the long waits, than driving to the BK off Rt.40. Read moreI agree with the previous review. This location has horrible customer service! There suppose to open at 6 am, but when I got to the door it was locked. Knocked on the door and was ignored. Then went to drive thru for assistance and was still ignored, until finally the rude manager Robin says she's the only one in the store, so their not open yet. I asked her for corporate phone number and she walked away.
Drove back up there 40 minutes later and they were still closed! Being understaffed isn't the customer responsibility, therefore open at 6 am as advertised. Stay away from...
